About
My philosophy on food and business is simple and straightforward. Always use the finest and freshest ingredients possible, nothing less. Create flavors that contrast but, at the same time, compliment each other. Combine textures and colors... and pay special attention to the presentation of all. And, finally, take care of your customers; good service is just as important to a restaurant's success as the food it serves. Eating should be one of the great joys in life. At Timothy's, our goal is to fulfill that promise. We want you to leave having had a wonderful dining experience... and wanting to come back."

My boyfriend and I decided to take a drive down to Union pier and check out Timothy’s. We were so happy we did! it was a lovely day but we still sat inside overlooking the back deck area such a beautiful place and clean. they...do a very good job of keeping people as safe as they can from COVID-19. We kind of just wanted to try a bunch of things so we did......we started off with a bottle of the house Pinot noir which was very very good and so fairly priced.....our meal started with fried brussels sprouts and then we went into a bacon Gorgonzola salad then the bang bang shrimp and wok seared asparagus .......yum yum yum.......didn’t have room for dessert but next time I swear we’re gonna start with dessert first. Thanks Charbel for the professional yet down to earth service we will come back as soon as we can to order all the other things you so kindly recommended.More

Thimothys restaurant has adapted to the ‘new normal’ – there are plenty tables outside in the beautiful garden, and they are all spaced apart. Food as always meets the expectations – and the fire roasted tomato soup is the best and if you have not...tired it yet – make sure you do! Our table attendant Star – as always very professional, friendly, with amazing attitude. She explains all the dishes and makes great recommendations!More

We enjoyed our dinner at Timothy's. The food was very good, although I wouldn't recommend the flourless chocolate cake (kinda blah). The restaurant is beautiful and they do a great job with sanitizing and making you feel safe from Covid19. I was kinda surprised they...sat a couple with a baby right in the middle of the restaurant. I love kids, got two of my own, but when you go out for a nice dinner you want to enjoy it and when the baby cries a couple of times during the meal it's a distraction.More

My wife had the grouper and I had the halibut. We shared the cauliflower appetizer and the flourless chocolate cake with home made ice cream. Every bit of was a joy to the senses. We loved it all. Hard to eat ordinary food after such...a meal. Equally special was the service. Starla was attentive, helpful and added to the fabulous meal with her advice on food choices. I strongly recommend this restaurant.More

The setting is great. We ate outside on a patio looking at a lovely garden. The service was friendly and rapid. BUT...the food was AMAZING! Imaginative and local with an Asian flair. Zuchhini Blossoms tempura were light and flavorful. The fish was great. Roasted tomato...soup was wonderful even in the heat of the summer. Not all is local. My softshell crab entre was out of this world.More

My son is currently on a restrictive diet (no wheat, soy, egg, or dairy). We know we can always fall back on a simple grilled protein and steamed vegetables. He was interested in the lemongrass chicken and we started to ask questions. Chef Timothy came...to the table and worked with us to make it happen! Everything else we had was delicious (burger, filet, and ahi tuna) as well. We will recommend Timothy's and return when we are int he area.More

We had hoped to celebrate our 50th anniversary here with family and friends. Obviously, couldn't happen with Covid. Took friends last night for an outdoor dining experience. Servers were masked and gloved. No touch doors, restroom facilities. Sanitizer on table. Everything was incredible from amazing...drinks, appetizers, to entrees. Service impeccable. Couldn't have asked for a better first time out since March. Timothy's is the best! Kudos to chef and staff!More

We had tasty food, generous servings. Our waitress, Starla took good care of us on the patio. She was personable, and made sure our water glasses didn't get empty. So, I recommend the food and the waitress. The evening started, however, with a bad taste...in our mouths. We had reservations, and since it was our first time here, didn't know the protocols. We were told courteously, where we should wait. A family came up after us. The hostess said she was going to seat them first. That seemed inappropriate to me. We requested a table in the shade. We were given the only one without an umbrella in the sun. She said the shade would hit that area in 10 -15 minutes. More like 40. Good thing we had a good server! We each have another meal for tomorrow as well!More

We make a point of eating at Timothy's Restaurant every time we travel to the lovely Lakeside, Michigan area. We love this elegant restaurant, both its exceptional, delectable cuisine and its tasteful, spacious, beautiful interior and grounds The seafood is especially great - but truly...everything is topnotch in quality and imaginatively prepared. It is definitely a worthy destination! It's easily found right on the Red Arrow highway close to Lake Michigan.More

We live in Valparaiso but when looking for a fabulous meal and a lovely view, this is our go-to. The dining room has high ceilings, tall windows that overlooks a romantic patio and garden. If you are a fish-lover, you cannot go wrong with any...of the choices; salads are unique w/ house-made dressings. We tend to hit Timothy's prior to attending shows at the Four Winds Casino. A worthy detour!More

No. This area is full of travelers and they go as they are. It is not a fancy restaurant but '30's, rustic place with lots of ambience of yesteryear.
