I love Indian food and these guys do a good job at it but friendliness or cleanliness is NOT their thing. They are busy and food is consistent and tastes good. I just don't get the very UNFRIENDLY male greeter that is always at the door and acts as you are bothering him by your very presence. A greeter that... More
Almost all of my Indian friends recommended this restaurant. I came here a number of times and the food is good. The buffet is also good.
My colleague and I came through Sterling on a business trip and ate at Ashoka on recommendation of local colleagues. The experience was as expected -- friendly, attentive service, traditional Indian menu, delicious food offered at custom spice level. We enjoyed it.

Indian restaurant for Vegetarian food, we were seven of us, decided to sit and order vegetarian food, expected good preparation for Dal makhani and vegetable but food was not prepared properly, it was not tasty and very expensive.

We complained to the owner and he suggested that the color is edible so you... More
I had a great opportunity on our cruise ship to enjoy Indian food. Once back home, I made my way to Ashoka and was very happy that I did. They offer a buffet lunch with a nice selection of meat, veggies and soup. Everything was very tasty and the restaurant was clean and busy.
