Ordered the gyro and fries. It was very good. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and followed covid precautions. Only negative was guy at from, appeared to be boss wasn't the friendliest but waitress made up for his demeanor.

We were simple calling to say our order was messed up we were given to the"Head chef" very unprofessional just for him to argue with my wife telling her she is wrong when clearly it wasn't what we order so we asked for a higher...ups number to discuss how poorly we have been treated to get told we can not have a higher ups number and to basically piss off so since you wouldn't kindly just replace my food like your supposed to ill just leave this little review for u! I wound NOT suggest thos place after their poor showing of customer service!More

Lunch was tops! Open-faced beef and lamb gyro was perfect, authentic, and large. Everything on it was top notch. Ordered the Greek salad to go with and it was fresh, crisp, and mouth watering. I was saying, "mmmm" the entire lunch. They also serve local...beers, wine, and cocktails. A must for your next meal!More

We tried this place coming from Detroit area that is full of coney island restaurants. The food was excellent! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was a bit slow, but that is typical in TC. Prices were a bit higher that what we were used...to, but food quality made up for it. Will go back again!More

It had been awhile since we last stopped in. For some reason it took awhile to get seated, even though they where not busy at the time. We ordered the beef & lamb gyro & a flint coney dog. The small greek salads that came...with the meal where nice sized & tasty (get the dressing on the side as it was over dressed). The meat was not cut in a traditional manner (more like it was baked in a pan & chopped into pieces), very few tomatoes & onions but MORE then enough tzatziki sauce - it over powered the entire sandwich - so get it on the side. The bun of the coney dog was dry, tasted old. Not sure if we would give them another try in the new location or not. It seemed a little pricey for what you got. The server was wonderful & very friendly!More

My husband ordered chicken Swiss & onion gyro and I ordered an open faced chicken gyro. They were cooked to perfection, the Tzatzki sauce through the roof and the fries were hot, crispy and DELICIOUS. We had onion petals for an appetizer and they were...SO GOOD. I cannot say enough good things other than go try it out. Very good food and we highly recommend Opa!!!!More

First thing I noticed was how dirty the floor and overall appearance of the restaurant. It had one tacky dress as decor, and there were dust bunnies all over the lamp shades. After being seated by a friendly hostess our experience went downhill from there....My water glass along with utensils were filthy. We decided on calamari as an app and it tasted of rubber bands and rotten fish. Pass, next we tried gyros and salads, along with a basket of fries to share our bill was over 40$ without tip. I asked for a Jack and Coke and was brought some sort of well whisky, not the Jack I ordered. The manager explained it all tastes the same and offered no excuse for the mistake. My gyro meat was burnt to the point of being inedible. They then asked me to write a positive review by bribing me with a piece of cake sized for a 6 year old. Needless to say let’s go back in time and reopen Fazolis. At least there the food was consistent and service was above and beyond, unlike “ I hopa you come back for more crummy food and crummy service. Beware ye who wants a gyro, Arby’s surprisingly is delicious at half the price. I’ve been a regular at Opa for a year now but will never return and will discourage those suggesting we eat there... This used to be one of my favorites restaurants. Originally from Detroit, I loved having the Detroit Coney/Greek food experience up north. I have visited the new location 4 times and been disappointed every time. Many of the Greek favorites (and combo plates) are gone...replaced with Americanized Greek choices. The chicken has been dry and over cooked. The salads are sparse. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Thus....the title "disappointed". To make matters worse, I recommended OPA to friends who were visiting from Chicago.....their review? "terrible" Darn.More
