Steak fajitas, guacamole and steak burrito were outstanding. Very busy on a Tuesday night, but we only waited about 10 minutes. Bert, our server, was very attentive. We loved it.

The best part about Red Mesa Grill is all the different hot sauces you can choose from. It makes for a lot of fun. The food on the other hand is just average. We had fajitas and tacos. Nothing special about either of them. The salsa was very good though. Service was just ok. This was our second time dining... More

We shrugged off our camping meals to enjoy the Mexican food here at Red Mesa Grill. So glad we did because it was delicious! Our waiter, Jordan, was great and extremely friendly. Free chips and salsa are always a hit. The salsa was great but the chips were mediocre (from a bag, I think). But overall, we enjoyed our meal... More

We have been going to Traverse City for years but this is the first time we went to Red Mesa at the recommendation of some friends. IT WAS FANTASTIC! The food was AWESOME, the mixed drinks were fabulous and the service was great. Will definitely be back.

The food was fresh, tasty, and they were very accommodating to special requests and substitutions. There is an outdoor area for dining. Good drink menu.

As always had a wonderful meal. Was with a party of 10. Service is sometimes a little slow but as long as they keep the margaritas coming all is good. Love the mushrooms steak fajita.

Wishing for Mexican food for dinner, we thought we'd try the Red Mesa Grill. We were seated quickly. Atmosphere was super welcoming! Our waitress was efficient and pleasant, giving us insight on the area attractions. Not wanting to settle for the typical Mexican food, we tried two Latin American dishes--the pork and the hanger steak were amazing! We wish we... More

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place gave me food poisoning on my wedding anniversary. We were in Traverse City for the weekend and we had a lovely hotel room, so we decided to order in and eat on our balcony. We were impressed they had a whole menu for vegetarians and vegans (we are... More

The food and drinks are always amazing. Had shrimp empanadas that were the special on Tuesday. Outstanding. Go during 3-6 happy hour and try the different appetizers. The staff is great also. Friendly and helpful in making menu selections
