This was a mother/daughter post covid vaccination trip. We sat out front in the covered outdoor seating. Still taking precautions. Service was quick and very friendly. We only had an hour to order our food and eat. According to the restaurant rules and the parking...meter. We both ordered the killer cowboy burger and the truffle fries. Well, I didn't eat the burger. The fries are to die for with the dip. Had the burger for dinner, it was equally as good. Would recommend this restaurant and would go back again if ever in the area. Oh yes, we had 15 minutes to spare. Great service.More

This was the “fancy dinner” of our TC bachelorette weekend. It took forever to get in for a group of 7 (they’re not taking reservations, I think due to COVID) but it was really good once we did. Service was attentive and their menu was...broad with lots of good options. Fair pricing. We almost all got steaks - mine was undercooked but they fixed it. Mashed potatoes were pretty bland. Overall the place was good and I’d recommend it. Super trendy vibe.More

The Fire Fly seems to be a jack of all trades, master of none. They had many different options on the menu from sushi, to steak, to burgers and Thai. I ordered the Peanut Thai and my lady ordered the steak after looking over the...shushi for a while. Unfortunately, the options all looked like typical bland sushi options (like a California roll). The steak was rare and had it been any more cooked it would have been very tough. The mashed potatoes had great flavor, but were dry. The Peanut Thai was flavor was subtle, but to me that means bland. The server was quick to fill drinks and the hostess opened the door for us on the way out. The atmosphere was cool and there is a really cool river just outside. If the food was better I would rate the experience higher.More

Hi Jeff, I want to share some feedback on an incredibly uncomfortable experience at your establishment , which after being recommended, I drive an hour to get to. Having some mental health issues, I have a small support animal. Upon calling, it was confirmed that...a seat outside with safe social distance would be available. Upon arriving, the table outside available was within arms distance on two men. Not 6ft, I could encourage you to measure. There were other tables free outside but I was told I couldn’t sit there on my own, so I was offered inside. However with a small dog, I don’t feel comfortable (or sanitary) sitting inside. I said I would go elsewhere. I called to give this feedback in a constructive way, having run several business and worked in the service industry, I feel feedback from patrons is crucial towards developing. Ben didn’t speak in a professional manner, and then proceeded to call me a “dick”, after I said he didn’t sound like a manager. A manager whose job is to help mitigate conflict and create solutions. After dealing with the stresses and anxieties caused by this pandemic, I was spoken to in an abusive way. It’s unacceptable, has ruined not only my excitement to dine there, but also has made me feel like I’m 2inches tall. I am a very kind, generous, hard working person. You’re staff made me feel unwelcome, attacked and judged. I am going to share this publicly, because it’s impacted me so heavily, however I wanted to send you this directly before I do. I hope you can work with your team to improve the type of experience you give your potential customers. I will not be back and I will share this experience with the people who recommended, and no doubt anyone who asks in future. I wish you all the best and hope this information helps you improve your business. Thanks you.More

While our waitress was lovely, our drink and our meals were awful. No flavor, tasted like something out of a frozen bag. Unimpressed, will not return

Since we have always had a very nice experience in the afternoon or evening, we thought we would try Sunday brunch. Pretty sure we won't do that again. Probably one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had, anywhere. I had the Breakfast burrito stuffed...with cold potatoes and not sure they are real eggs. The guys had the Breakfast hash, equally awful. Must say the coffee was very good, and so was the server, Ashley.More

I'm a local who has frequented Firefly for years. It's sometimes hit and miss but when it's good, it's really good. Just a month ago had a great experience and great food and drink, and service. Tonight: they screwed up my reservation and didn't have...it. To the staff's credit, they found a table for our group. But once seated, we sat at the table and were obviously invisible. We sat there for 20 minutes. No water. No waitstaff. Not even an acknowledgement from a server that they'd be with us soon; they literally avoided eye contact with us. So after 20 minutes we left. Such a disappointment for a place that can be so great.More

This is a modern pub/bar a couple of blocks south of downtown. The big draw for me was that it has outside seating by the river. We picked the tacos and the lettuce wrap for our lunch. The tacos were okay but the lettuce wrap...was really good. Definitely merits a recommendation. Service was kind of slow, maybe because we were sat outside, although we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a problem.More
