The food might be great, but we never had a chance to find out. When we stopped in for lunch, the "hostess" didn't identify herself and said nothing to us as we stood in front of the pastry case, and only after two other people asked to be seated did we realize we had to ask her. We did, and... More

Yes, this restaurant has the ultimate breakfast choices along with some of the best coffee. We have had some good experiences there and some bad. If you are going for breakfast/brunch, plan to spend at least 45 minutes for a table. The restaurant is tiny and does have outdoor seating. Unfortunately, we were waiting for a table for quite a... We had the strangest experience when we tried to have lunch at Patisserie Amie. We arrived and the restaurant was half empty and tables were set. We weren't greeted by anyone and we figured out that the young woman behind the pastry cabinet was the hostess (never greeted us) and we asked her if we had to wait to be... More

Highly recommend the peasant omelet- delicious . The place is very quaint and a true European vibe. Many choices.

This is a destination for us, and it is beyond excellent, every single time. It is very busy, but absolutely worth the wait. The chef is gifted and thoroughly professional, so that every dish is perfect. I have never had better omelets, even in France. Service is attentive, friendly, and professional. Atmosphere is pleasant and unique.

I had breakfast here on my last day of vacation in TC. The crêpe I thought I wanted turned out to be more of a salad, according to the server who thankfully warned me not to order it. So, instead I had the crêpe asperges, which came with asparagus, ham, cheese, and a bechamel sauce. It was superb. The crêpe... More

This is the 3rd time I have had breakfast here over the past few years. Service and food has always been excellent. Would recommend to come early as seats are limited. If you cannot stay for a meal the pastries are excellent to take as a snack for later!

We visit TC about 1-2 times a year for a special getaway. Patisserie Amie is always on our list of places to go. Today the food was great as always, but our server treated us like an annoyance, barely served us, brought out half of our food then left for another 15+ minutes before bringing the rest (so eggs were... The restaurant was busy and we had to wait to be seated. But, it was well worth the wait! The decor is French as well as the food. Three of us had Blinis which came with blueberries and a special cream. They were wonderful and I will definitely order it again when I'm back in town. This is a wonderful... More

We visited mid week to have breakfast after reading rave reviews. We had a large party of 9 ((6 adults + 2 kids + 1 baby). The restaurant is small so we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, but it is charming and was definitely worth the wait. The food is wonderful, very authentic French and fresh.... More
