Every time I come to Traverse City I have to have breakfast here, even if the wait is more than 45 minutes (and it almost always is on a weekend morning). In fact I almost didn't write this review because I don't want it to be even longer :). I've never seen so much care and creativity put into omelettes... More

Open on Sunday at 0700 you must be there before as five minutes later there is a wait. The menu and food is superb. The Quiche and Eggs Benedict are the best I have ever eaten and the service was fast. Good coffee also.

The crepes and breakfasts are fantastic. We also tried the French beignet and enjoyed it - though they are rich - our ten year old left one uneaten!

An excellent chef must know how to make a perfect omelette. At Amie they will not disappoint. I came yesterday and had the asparagus and crabmeat omelette and it was perfection. So much so, I came back today. Both days chasing my meal with succulent Belgian hot chocolate. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I can tell they love their... More

Had a bad experience last year with this place. Food was good but service was absolutely horrible. Against my better judgement, we decided to try it again today. Was told the only place to sit was outside next to the road otherwise it would be 30 minutes (the lobby was empty). That wasn't my first choice but since we were... More

I've been going to Patisserie Amie for years. It's always a mixed bag. Somethings are made fabulous every time and somethings the quality is lacking. I miss the old seating. The new seating look very generic now. Pastries are always fabulous!

I went to this usually wonderful spot with two close friends who had never eaten there. We hadn't seen each other for a while, and looked forward to playing catch up. Our waitress, Jamie was great, the food not so much. Do not get the crab/asparagus salad! It was fishy and tasteless. Unfortunately two of us had it, and it... More

A very popular but small restaurant means you might wait a while, but when it is your turn they take the time to get everything right. We ordered three brunch egg dishes, and all of them were excellent. This was the standout restaurant in Traverse City, and for our entire trip to the tip of the U.P. and back. I... More

My wife and I had Sunday brunch at Patisserie Amie this morning. I had Omelet Oscar (with crab, asparagus, and hollandaise sauce), and my wife had Crabe Mornay (a crepe with artichoke, spinach, and poached egg). I also had a cappuccino and a croissant. All our food was exceptionally good, and the service was excellent. My only, slight disappointment was... More

We have eaten breakfast/lunch there several times each summer of the last years. First, the food is delicious - no complaints whatsoever. If I may suggest: order a breakfast item each AND a half order of a sweet item to share (such as the pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream - nothing 'out-of-a-can' here!). Their coffees are prepared in a... More
