Dropped in on our way out of town and picked up some wonderful bread with caramelized onion and goat cheese, triple chocolate cookie and a short bread with pecans. All I can say is that you really want to buy the store!

I highly recommend the chocolate croissants. The bread here is excellent and the selection is good. They also have cookies and bread sticks.

We enjoyed a selection of delicious pastries for a quick Sunday breakfast while visiting family in TC. The almond and chocolate croissant was amazing as was the tomato and goat cheese pastry. Get coffee from Higher Ground across the way from the bakery. A great pairing! You can't beat a quality bakery like Pleasanton!

We stopped at the Pleasanton Bakery for lunch one day. We ended up getting a pastry with sundried tomatoes, spinach, and goat cheese. They were delicious. We finished off with some huge ginger molasses cookies--nice and chewy. It was all very good. We did get a loaf of garlic bread to go. It was okay--I found it to be a... More

We stopped by here on a whim to load up on carbs. The bakery items in the case and the breads looked wonderful, but we opted to go low-carb this time and chose a few breadsticks to munch on. First they were $2/each! A bit steep but then again, we're ok with contributing to local businesses so we bought 4.... More

Where the breads and sweets were good, the place was a little small/crowded. It was one of the many outer buildings of the sanitarium. The staff seemed a little bit "put off", but it may be because it was the end of the day and they were tired.

We stopped by when visiting Traverse City. The smell of the breads and other items was so good that we had to stop and buy something. I got a bacon and cheese scone and my wife got a goat cheese and sundried tomato danish. We both had coffee. There is no inside seating, but there were two tables outside and... More

From the food to the service, Pleasanton won't disappoint! You MUST try the almond croissant and the tomato/feta/basil brioche. Drool worthy every single time!

We had our first pizza from here and it was excellent. Lots of unique ingredients to choose from. We took it home and will return for more!
