I feel fortunate to have found this lovely restaurant nestled on the bank of Lake Michigan near Traverse City. The food was excellent - burrato and risotto small plates were incredible - and a lovely view of water through the trees. My husband's trout was good. My short ribs were supreme. Dessert of raspberry sauce over rice pudding was sublime.... More

My husband and I, along with three great new friends, enjoyed our final destination here on the (progressive-dinner style) Summer Safari Supper that is sponsored by this restaurant. We had some (more!) lovely wines and plenty of terrific food: my husband absolutely loved the taste and texture of his chicken entree! This was our second time enjoying dinner here and... More

We sat out on the deck for dinner on a Friday night. I'd definitely recommend making reservations! There was a wedding rehearsal and weddings going on that night too. The manger said they had served 1200 people that night. They warned us that we wouldn't get served until 8 PM. We had a problem getting a waiter. Manager Jim DeMarsh... More

Arrived next door at the Jolly Pumpkin but they had an hour wait, so we were told that the Mission Table had tables available right away (Now I Know why!). Anyway, after a 10 minute wait we were seated- wines and beers are very local including some just for this restaurant- there was no beer menu so you just had... More

When it comes to great food in Traverse City, there are a lot to choose from, but Mission Table is by far one of my favorites. It's become our "go to" location for special events like my recent birthday. The food is delicious and I love that everything is local - food and drinks. Not to mention the wonderful staff... More

Great view of West Bay, and a Beautiful historic building. Truly a top rate restaurant that has it all, amazing food, wonderful views, and outstanding service. This was my best meal in the last 2 years. Asparagus risotto had wonderful layers of flavor. Smoked whitefish appetizer came with a mustard sauce that just really made it excellent. Short rib entree... More

Deap fried cauliflower-outstanding. Nice staff and they are friendly. The Inn has history as it ws the mansion of a logging magnet from back in the day. Food was good and the drinks were good. There was a massive bug hatch that night and they got into the restaurant which was annoying. But so goes live on a big lake-bugs... More

When my wine was delivered, the waitress said she'd be right out with the bread. She wasn't. When she brought my soup course out, I reminded her about the bread and she said that they were "firing it up right now"; it came out a couple of minutes later. My waitress put the bread plate to the right of my... More

Great spot to stop and take the view. Great tastings of wine, beer and spirits. Loved how you could mix and match your tastings between the three. Didn't have time to try the food but what ever they were cooking at the time smelled awesome! Will have to back for lunch or dinner.

I had cassoulet and my companion loved the mushroom bisque. The super friendly, American style service is not my thing, but our waiter was good despite that one small annoying detail. The side of Brussels sprouts was not good. Roasted, but actually roasted to the point of being burned. And borIng too. Nothing I can't do better myself. Cassoulet, on... More
