DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!!! We had a contract signed and deposit paid, and a month later we were booted from our date by a couple who was given "priority booking" due to them having to reschedule because of COVID. Never were we told...that this was a possibility. We were offered a credit to rebook, or a refund. Neither was acceptable as we had already started making plans, but we weren't asked to change our date, we were told it was changed. We took our deposit and are going somewhere that will treat our wedding as a special day.More

We had a great meal and wonderful waitress. Last night of our trip and this restaurant was a delicious stop. The 4 of us enjoyed scallops, whitefish, and prime rib and no one left hungry. Great cherry cobbler to top it off. Will return next...time we visit the area.More

Mission Table will always be "Bowers Harbor Inn" to the locals. It has always been a nice ride along the bay to get to the restaurant, and was something of a "destination". On Valentine's Day, less than half the tables were full, and it was...chilly inside. They are only open Fri and Saturdays during the winter, with an abbreviated menu. The ambiance has changed. Hope they can revive the past spirit of the Inn. Food was better than average, but missing some spark. Bar side was busy, though.More

I got married at the Harbor Room in Mission table and let me start by saying I LOVE the look of the room, the food is great, and the grounds are beautiful for photos by the water and vineyard. I initially worked with the owner Barb...who was very difficult to get a hold of, but for event details I worked with Sarah. She was very friendly and awesome at answering any questions I had along the way. However, I was sadly disappointed the day of my wedding. I had met with Sarah a few weeks before the wedding to go over all the day of details and on the day of things were not followed. We were told that we could get in the morning of for setup, but when we got there at the agreed upon time nothing was put together. So we had to wait about 20 minutes to find someone who worked there and set up our tables and chairs for us. On a plus side we had placecards on a table outside which Sarah kindly offered to set out for us later in the day so the wind would not blow them away, which was really nice of her. My biggest complaint is that dinner was 50 MINUTES LATE. I had given them my timeline and it was approved, yet dinner was late with no explanation as to why. They didn't even reimburse us a percentage of our food bill for being late, which is ridiculous. The entire night after we finally got dinner was rushed because we had cake cutting and first dances, and by the time that was over our rental time had ended and staff started cleaning up our decor, basically kicking us out. I was very strict about sticking to our timeline since they only give you 4 hours, so in my opinion if they throw you off by almost an hour then they should extend the rental time to make up for it. To make matters worse, after we paid for the bill I realized they charged us for a cake cutting fee (which we didn't even have cake except for a small one for the cutting) and charges for soda (again we never ordered soda, but they tried claiming it was a regular charge they always have, but I was never told this). They did reimburse for these fees, but it is a mistake that never should have happened. Overall I had a good wedding, but all these errors definitely leaves a cloud over the day.  More

We had a delicious dinner. I had the beat salad and the gnocchi. My hubby had the special which was surf and turf; filet and scallops. The gnocchi was homemade and served with seasonal vegetables. For dessert I had a drink, all their alcohol is...made on the premises so i had to try the Irish mint and spiced rum. Yummy. My hubby had the lava cake. It was a really nice atmosphere. We chose to eat outside because it was so beautiful and the view so wonderful. There was unfortunately an incident that took place behind us with a very demanding woman and there was no pleasing her but the manager handle it wonderfully and we could see it was pointless so we tried to ease her situation along with joking and talking to her. When our bill came she took it and returned with a little note attached that said it was people like us who make her love her job. Thanks, you made our night.🙂More

My husband is a Culinary Institute Trained Chef. For this reason we don't frequent any restaurants in the area, as his cooking is usually better. But, it was our anniversary, so we chose to go out. The food was very good, well prepared, nice presentation...and tasty. The young man who waited on us was very polite and efficient. It was a lovely evening so decided to sit outside. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Another issue was the wine list. The only choices were local wines. I don't usually like them but took a chance on a white, while my husband chose not to order the overpriced wine he knew he would not like. Mine was truly undrinkable. So all in all, if they expand the wine list, and provide better seating it could be the best restaurant in the area.More

Visited Mission Table with my family. We were sat promptly at a nice patio table with a beautiful view of west bay. The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Our cocktails were yummy and the meals were delectable. We didn’t have room for dessert but...that looked amazing too.More

Was in Traverse City for a wedding, took the bride and groom with family the night before the wedding out to dinner here on a nice outdoor patio. Food was very good and locally sourced. Service was a bit slow, but this was the height...of their season, and the weekend. A place foodies should love, reasonably priced for an upscale restaurantt.More
