Willie, the owner, certainly knows how to run a good restaurant. The number one thing is good food and that was exactly what we received. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Best place for breakfast and lunch!!!
My family and I always take time to stop and eat here when we are the area. Great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Food has always been very good and the wait staff are friendly and prompt.
This restaurant is also referred to as...Willie’s place by the locals. Willie is often at the restaurant and a pleasure to talk with.More
After eating breakfast at the Silver Cliff Mountain Inn and Restaurant (aka: Willie's Place; aka: Mostly Cheryl's Place) most mornings of my last trip out, I can safely say that it has become my favorite restaurant in the Wet Mountain Valley. It is a real...pleasure to walk into an establishment and be greeted by friendly people who enjoy what they do and are not just "making 8" to get by. Nikki, Maria and Gus will take very good care of you IF you let them. Miss Cheryl and Mr Willie run a tight ship with a premium staff.
Now it goes get crowded and crazy from time to time but the staff just rolls with it, again, IF you will let them!
Food: try the Mexi Scramble if it's on the specials menu that morning. Really good! And Willie's breakfast burrito is one of the best I've had.....but you'd better be hungry!More
The quality of the food here is awesome. Everything is fresh made to order. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The staff is very nice and helpful. The owner even took the time to come check on all of the guests. Did I mention...the food quality is amazing? Breakfast is only served until 11:00 so make sure to come early. Can't wait to go back.More
I eat at Willie's a lot, and I have to say that I wish they served waffles every day except just on special.
The breakfast is always hot and delicious. Seems their coffee has gotten better in the last year, but they say they haven't...changed it.
Love this place for breakfast.More
Great traditional breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Tried the Slopper for lunch also very good. This is the 4th or 5th time eating here and haven't had a bad experience. Kinda hard to find if you are not local but the community is nice enough...all you have to do is ask someone "Where's Willies ???"More
