I like the VI, we live in town and frequent it often. Last Friday we ordered two burgers and fries to go. The order was not only grossly overcooked it was totally wrong and not at all what was printed on our itemized receipt. $36.00...for two crunchy overcooked burgers was a huge disappointment.More

always great

dine here frequently and the food (now carry out during COVID-19) never disappoints. Cannot wait for the pandemic to be over so I can dine indoors, or outdoors weather permitting, but it should be noted they have limited out door heated seating during the winter!...One of my 'go to's in the village for breakfast, lunch or dinner.More

Wonderful Walleye

First time here but hopefully not the last. Stopped in for lunch and ordered the walleye. It was a huge portion, nicely batter fried, moist and flakey. Topped it off by sharing a piece of cherry pie that again was huge and very tasty. Service...was great!More

Favorite Suttons Bay Restaurant

This was our favorite restaurant in Suttons Bay. They were all good places to eat in town, but this is the only one we went back to, in the week we were here. I had the walleye and it came with a pile of fries...and cole slaw. Great tasting.More

Nice Lunch

There were not many places open the day after Labor Day in the area. We found V.I. Grill and were seated right away. Service was pleasant and the food was good. A nice lunch! Thank you.

Best Bloody Mary Everrrrrrrr!

Stopped in for lunch while shopping in town. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive and I had the BEST Bloody Mary I’ve ever had, hands down! Even talked the guy at the next table into having one. Food was great and spaced out very...nicely outside. Wish we’d been up there long to enjoy another Bloody Mary, next time! LOLMore

Good Curbside Service

Since so many of the restaurants now require reservations (and quite far ahead of time), we decided on carry-out one night from V.I. Grill. Curbside pickup was quick and friendly. Food was good and a good value.

Spontaneous stop!

2 adults/2 Children (13/17) - stopped to enjoy a lunch. Host - not pleasant! Had an attitude with my husband and tossed the menus on the table as he seated us. Our server was so-so - attentive enough - had to double ask for a...couple things but pretty pleasant. Prices were higher than we normally would have paid for a lunch, but you pay for ambiance. Best Sunday Brunch

Sue and I(Paul) come to Northern Michigan every year for a weeks vacation during Labor Day week. We experienced V.I.Grill,s Sunday brunch quite a number of years ago and have made it a point to always make a visit to this eating establishment for the...brunch. So much to choose from, and ever so delicious! They have a small outdoor seating area and we have been able to bring our two well behaved golden retrievers with us. Looking forward to visiting this restaurant again this year. Virus or no virus.More
