We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with dinner at Grande Mere. It's been a special place to us ever since our cousin first introduced it to us many years ago. Keep up the good work!

We drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to celebrate a birthday of a friend. The location is great overlooking Lake Michigan. The service was top notch and the food selection was very extensive. It was difficult to narrow down what to end up with. My...favorite the Filet was great perfectly done. I highly recommend Grand Mere for any occasionMore

We were celebrating my sister and brother-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner out. The staff was very attentive to our party of 14. Everyone just ordered off the menu and we all had good dinners. The Walleye and Perch were very good as well...as the Filets. There is a nice wine list with not expensive choices available to most. It was a cloudy evening so no sunset, bummer.More

We have nothing but the utmost respect for the owners of this restaurant. We were going to be in Stevensville on a Friday....so I decided to call for a reservation a week before. Spoke with the senior owner, explained we were coming from out of...town. I asked for a window table. He said he would try. We arrived a little early....they were extremely busy, but they had a window view table reserved for us. The food and service were excellent. I had bacon wrapped scallops, my husband had a filet. The restaurants were all so busy that evening, but they had a table for us even though we were coming from Georgia. Nice to find a restaurant with integrity . Thank you for a great evening!More

I've been here several times when I lived in northwest Indiana, but now that I live in Las Vegas, NV, and was visiting Indiana with friends, I had to bring them here for the food and the view of the sunset. The menu will full fill...most diners, the lounge is great and the view out the floor to ceiling windows at sunset is fantastic. The owner opens the blinds for a wonderful look at the sunset over lake Michigan from your seat or you can go outside for a better look. When I was there, we experienced a double sunset due to the reflection off the water, Awesome!!! I would go back again!!!More

Sally was great and I enjoyed the staff being so accommodating from the food to the service. I will definitely make another trip to Grand Mere Inn to check out the rest of the menu.

We indulged with calamari, mushroom caps and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. All three were excellent. I had the blackened chicken for my entree. The first piece was a bit dry, but the second larger piece was very good and the spices were kickin’, which I...like, especially with an ice cold beer in a frosted glass. Had a window seat and watched the sunset over Lake Michigan. Servers are well trained a very attentive.More

The dress code is upper casual. NO beach wear. Although no formal requirements, you do not want to be there with tank top and shorts. Most men wear slacks, shirt and some a sports jacket.

This is a local, old time supper club. Dress is casual. Business casual or better can work too. If you are feeling fancy why not dress the part! If you feel like dropping in that would work too. Never hurts to class up... More
