Food was decent. Our waitress was pleasant but did not inform us of a $7.95 upcharge to substitute chicken for the pork and venison on my wife's nachos. The upcharge was for a full chicken breast but there was not that much chicken. We were charged full price for the nachos plus the $7.95. We also had family members that arrived a little after we did that were ignored until I said something to our server.I would not recommend this place and will not return.

The food and service was great. My only complaint was portion size. I ordered the Rainbow trout stuffed with crab. All I got was three small pieces, not a lot bigger than a large sushi roll. Nothing else, no veggies, no potato, nothing. It was served on a narrow sushi dish. It was great tasting, but not a dinner.

Cozy, rustic, nice atmosphere. Service was great, as was the food. We had the chicken w/ cabernet glaze, chicken pot pie, french dip, and chicken naan wrap. All were exceptional, except the wrap. It was good, but not a repeat b/c there was too much cheese. This coming from someone who LOVES cheese. It overwhelmed the whole dish. Ooo, the fries were super yummy. All the salad dressings are homemade. Good wine selection. Definitely would go back

DO- investigate menu prices online, to see what you are walking into! (AND PRINT to take with you ) they have no prices on menu. That was my red flag, asking for the walleye dinner and getting the appetizer. The other meal was quoted- 8oz filet mignon- was $36 on menu online and I was $52. Waitress was sweet but and a good one.

This place has the luxury of having no competition! They're sitting on their laurels compared to my last visit at Antlers. Love the decor, ambiance and location but the kitchen and service is clearly not up to their jobs. My dads ny strip was full of sinew and uneatable, the potatoes were dry and overcooked and our bolognese was tasty but lacking in the actual boar and beef. The salads were great but we were not even half finished when our entrees were piled on top of us. With a little thought they would realize if they gave us a chance to breathe we would have ordered a second drink. Oh and the Bolognese was luke warm. Our server was very sweet and kind but needed a little more training. I really want to see Antlers thrive which is the only reason I am writing this so hopefully next time we can leave happy and full!

MY sisters, brother-in-law, and self were on a mini road trip. After reading many great reviews about the food at Antlers were decide to check it out. First impressions, service was way below par. Four times we asked for a spoon for my brother in laws soup, he received it about 15 minutes later into the meal, by then his soup was cold. My sister and I both ordered sandwiches which came with fries. The fries were cold so we sent them back. The walleye sandwich was delish. I had a chicken breast sandwich which was dry and burned. The manager came by after our meal and we voiced our concerns. She explained that it was the first time they were open at full capacity so there would be mistakes. She would also make sure the cook knew about the burned chicken. I was not comped for the sandwich I could not eat. Disappointed with the whole experience.

Food was great, but service was not enjoyable. Our waitress did great with the big group but I called twice a head of time for accommodations for a bigger group. Once we arrived , they made us wait an hour while sitting another large group that didn’t have a reservation. The hostess and other wait staff acted like it was a hassle even though I called ahead twice.

We spent the morning exploring some cold, wet hiking trails and our only guideline for lunch was that there be a working fireplace. Antlers met the criteria, so we settled in at a table near the fire to thaw out. The place was very quiet, but I imagine that it's packed during the summer, based on its location. We were actually served by several people, assumingly because they were not busy. Therefore, our service was great - prompt, friendly, and helpful. My husband and I shared a mushroom swiss burger (with candied onions), a house salad (homemade tangy Dijon vinaigrette dressing was delicious), and the 7 Cheese Mac & Cheese. The burger was very good and prepared to medium, as requested. They offered a pretzel bun for an upcharge, which we turned down. I thought the basic bun served was just fine, but my husband would have preferred going with the pretzel bun. Our only slight disappointment was the mac & cheese. There was nothing at all wrong with it, there was just nothing special about it. Considering it's listed on their menu under the "favorites," we thought that it was going to be memorable. The combination of the 7 cheeses (swiss, gouda, parmesan, cheddar, white cheddar, bleu, and Monterey jack) was good, but what it was missing, in my opinion, was some melted cheese over the top - just a few minutes under the broiler to really make it pop (and keep it warm at our table). Our friends ordered the french onion soup (which they would not recommend in comparison to others they've had elsewhere), and a bacon cheddar burger and truffle pasta, both of which they thoroughly enjoyed. Antlers offered an interesting craft beer selection and they were very kind about bringing a few small samples until decisions were made. It was a perfect spot to warm up on a cold weekend afternoon and if we're back in the area, we would certainly return based on the service and the food.

Lively friendly bar/restaurant. Very busy but wait staff did well keeping up with only one long wait for an item. Food was excellent. Venison medallions in mushroom Marsala extraordinary. Lobster mashers with the walleye had whole lobster pieces in it.

We made our first visit to this restaurant and enjoyed the quiet outside patio dining. The wait staff was very attentive with a great personality. They were very cautious to make sure everyone was socially distanced while dining inside or outside. I'm sure that this location is very busy when we are in a more normal world.

We enjoyed dinner at Antlers. Our server Jeff took care of our table of 7 (5 children) flawlessly. He gave great recommendations, the food was delicious, portions were perfect and the ambiance was warm and cozy! Highly Recommend!

Antlers is very close to St Ives / Tullymore and Canadian Lakes, so gets a lot of resort traffic. Pretty large restaurant with a big bar and outdoor patio. Food was very good, ranging from steaks, fish (good walleye entree), pizza, etc. Service was so-so. Took awhile to get seated as they were dealing with two parties of 10 and seem overwhelmed. Told there were no tables outside even though we saw 3-4.

We’ve been here many times before and have never been disappointed. Brittany was our server last time and was absolutely hey sweetheart. She was very helpful without being too pushy. I had the venison medallions and they were out of this world. My wife had chicken and mushrooms and it was cooked perfectly. Make sure you save room for dessert because their bread pudding is out of this world. This is a absolute must go to to eat as the service and food are phenomenal! I’ll definitely be going back !

Both inside and outside seating, and it was hard to choose as the outside views included an active lake atmosphere. We chose inside and weren't disappointed. Although the service or food wasn't perfect, the overall experience was above average for the area.
