Came here on. Friday afternoon. It wasn’t packed but had steady traffic. The service was good. My wife got the special of beef stroganoff, she liked it but felt it was priced a little high for the amount she got. I got the broiled cod, which came with a side salad, mixed vegetables, and mashed potatoes, it was good. I know we’ll be back.

We have frequented The Rhapsody many times over the years, and enjoyed every visit and meal. Tonight was no different. It had been a little while since we'd been and my wife wanted Hungarian food for Valentine's Day, so we went. It always surprises me how busy this place gets, only because it's not really considered a "healthy" choice in restaurants. Heaping portions of old world style European cuisine at reasonable prices are featured here. My wife ordered the Chicken Paprikash and I had the Goulash. They serve their goulash in a kettle on a stand with a bit of sterno fuel underneath it to keep it hot. Everything was wonderful. I'm really glad places like this are still around. My only issue with The Rhapsody is that I wish they had more sausage offerings on the dinner menu. Oh well. Maybe the owners will read this review and put some on there. Hopefully next time, because we'll definitely be back.

Great Place with a great reputation! Menu is limited to 'only good stuff!' Traditional ethnic food. ... and I like that the wait staff can explain ingrediants and preparation. You may wait a bit for your order if you arrive early because everything is made from scratch. You will come back ... (occasionally).

E ordered a gin & tonic, I ordered a gin martini. Both of us thought our drinks were watered.
E & I ordered the lunch chicken paprikash, paprikash was extremely mild, E and I detected little spice.
Positives:
The food was good, portions generous, persons who ordered other items on the menu were delighted, especially with the Gulyas (Goulash), the Hungarian merlot (even with a screw cap) was good, our server, Michelle, was a delight, the dessert offering was a HUGE success

I'm so happy the Hungarian Rhapsody is open for curbside service. The stuffed cabbage, chicken and veal paprikas are just as delicious when eaten at home. Every day they are offering a delicious soup of the day and special of the day, like beef stroganoff, fried perch, baked cod, and chicken baconyi. (They are closed Mondays) the curb side pick up is very efficiently run, I recommend placing your order earlier in the day and say what time you want to pick up because it's hard to get through on the phone at the dinner hour.

Visiting area, used to live near here. We ate here and I can say that this food was very authintic. My wife's former in-laws were Hungarian, and she loved their food. She said this was excellent. Waitress was very nice, food tasted great, service was very good.

Another excellent dinner. Hungarian food is excellent. Nice to have a place nearby that brings back memories of some food my mom made. Service was very good, portions are always large. Highly recommended.

Friends brought me here for a birthday dinner. The staff were observing all the COVID protocols for safety. T ordered the goulash again, because he had it before and loves it, M had the chicken schnitzel, a special of the day not on the regular menu, I had veal paprikash and it was great. Food, service, everything good for my birthday dinner.

We went on a Wednesday, specifically on the advice of a friend. The soup and bread were fabulous! Always trust your friends! The service was excellent! We'll be back.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time (saw it featured on "Under the Radar Michigan" on PBS). On a Friday evening it was completely full. I ordered Shrimp Crepe which was super flavorful - large shrimp - best crepe I've ever had. However, I am part Polish and didn't care for their version of the stuffed cabbage which I split with my husband who liked it. My husband ordered the Chicken Papricas but thought it was bland, and he wasn't expecting chicken with bones to fish out. The service and decor were good. We will go again but my husband will try the Goulash next time.

I have eaten there a few times over the years. I am not Hungarian but love the food. Many old-world pieces of decor, paintings, dishes etc. Food was Great!

The menu is mostly Polish/Hungarian fare. They do have sandwiches though. Daily specials and full bar. Northline road between Allen and Dix, closer to Dix. Good Service.

Apparently, I am in the minority here, but I really didn't think this restaurant was special. Lots of people. small restaurant, ethnic decorated, very loud/ noisy. Service was attentive. Food was just Ok.
