I had not I been back to Bacco in a very long time, due to a poor experience the last time., My husband (jmdskyline@gmailcom- see his review) and I decided to try again and took our very dear friends from out-of-town on a recent Saturday night. We were sorry we chose Bacco. The noise level was deafening- couldn't even hear... More

I used to think that this was the best restaurant in town. It was my favorite. But now I find it overpriced with an unacceptable noise level. They have crammed so many tables in the dining room that everyone has to shout to talk to their guests. My wife ordered a $62 veal chop...and while very tasty, it was very... More

Still one of my favorite places to eat in the USA. When ever any actor or artist comes to Detroit they stop at Bacco. Its just that good! The pasta is amazing but try the lamb chops. Cooked perfectly. They always have specials and you shouldn't over look them. They have a couple of booths in the bar that I... More

Upon entering we were readily greeted , complimented on our attire and seated at a prime table. The waitstaff surrounded us caring for all of our needs from the breads , parmigiana to our beverages and appetizers. The wine steward offered lovely wines new that evening, our server delighted us with amazing special offerings as well as menu recommendations. We... More

This place is a trip back in time to the suburban Deeeetroit of the late '80s-early '90s, when car machers and other local business czars still roamed the earth in their finery from L'Uomo Vogue and Linda Dresner. I've never seen so many women of a certain age with jet black hair and metal-adorned clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, etc etc.... More

The food is Amaxing a Italian meal that tastes like you are in your Grandmothers kitchen. Good Food and Great People. They even have a vegetarian menu that a local Restauranteur and cardiologist absolutely LOVE!! Bacco, it's where it's at on Detroit for Italian!

Even in the rain, the fresh farm-to-table ingredients of the food, the overall ambiance, and the feeling that you are dining with a true Sicilian family was great! But, what took the dining experience at Bacco over the top was the Maitre d' (Agata). She stopped by a few times throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect for... More

Food was ok, but way overpriced and the wine list was so expensive had to settle for beer - very little options under $100. If Detroit's economy is soft, it sure isn't showing it here. Environment is ok as well, but not the ambience of an Italian restaurant. Seems very much like a spot for locals. If in town for... More

One of the best meals in metro Detroit. Well worth the expense. Had a filet and it was so much better than what you get from the high end steak houses. Pasta is home made and you can tell the difference. Excellent service, nice atmosphere.
