I come here often because a friend likes it here. They do have great food and some decent vegetarian options. (I am the veggie) Soups are always delicious. However, service is very spotty. Today our server did not seem to know anything about not reaching over one diner to reach another diner. When it is necessary to reach over one... More

We were pleased to have the options of a petite sized salad at a more reasonable price ($9 - $11) ... our choice was the tenderloin with candied walnuts and sun dried tomatoes which was simply delicious & unique. Our sweet waitress brought a tray to our table with a choice of 3 complementary birthday desserts .. the chocolate mouse... More

The food is okay but every time I have been to this restaurant I find the menu choices very limited, and to me not very appealing. They do have a nice brunch.

I do not like to give one star reviews, but this formerly nice restaurant has sadly declined over the years - the owner seems to have checked out. Easier to serve mac&cheese to college students, I guess, than to maintain standards and quality at the flagship. For starters, service was oddly inattentive for an uncrowded Saturday night. Nice wine list,... More

This was new years eve lunch. Our wait time was about 20 minutes. We were sat down and were brought some water and our drink order was taken. The ambiance and decor was nice, medium noise level, and proper amount of light. Our waiter brought us some bread and some marinara dipping sauce. He also explained that two staff members... More

I can't believe this business has been open for 32 years, and yesterday was my first time there with my family. I thought having toddlers might be a problem, but the staff and the menu were very accommodating--there were teddy grahams and coloring paper & utensils on the table. The price and portions were just right for both kids and... More

I was here yesterday for the second time. Both times were disastrous. Yesterday I was there for a scheduled Christmas luncheon for work. We allowed 2 hours for the 24 of us to eat; at 2 hours, we still had not been served our entrees. One of our staff actually had to leave without eating to catch a 3:40 flight... More

My husband and I stopped after shopping at Somerset. Parking lot was full but no problem getting a table. Our server, Kacey, was terrific. We split a bowl of the short rib stew - excellent, the petite Sweet Lorraine's special salad, the In TheMood (turkey) sandwich and the best bacon Mac n cheese around. Only regret - we ordered the... First thing to remember is to sign up for their e-mail club. The food here is delicious and just a little out of the ordinary but it is a bit pricey for me. However, with the email club they send you BOGO coupons all the time which makes this actually a good value. I went with a friend who can... More

Going to Sweet Lorraine's is somewhat getting into the experience. Some of the seating is upstairs and you hike up the stairs. Some of the seating areas are not sufficiently lit. On a Saturday night the place can be packed, with a lot of frenetic activity on the part of the staff and yet still, Lorraine's has a cool vibe... More
