Long time restaurant with several owners over the years, but always good food. This is a Good basic family style restaurant. They always have a good waitstaff and never had a bad meal.

We decided to have dinner in a restaurant which we haven’t done for a while due to the Covid and it appeared that Marcus Grill was doing good with the social distancing and wearing masks so I felt comfortable with that. The booths are separated...by a plexiglass shield which covers the entire area. My friend got the fish and chips dinner which came with the choice of soup salad or coleslaw and I got the Parmesan crusted whitefish with also came with the choice of soup salad or coleslaw. My friend got the chicken dumpling soup and I got a side salad with their balsamic vinegar dressing. They also bring a basket of crackers and rolls out to your table and the rolls are very soft and fresh. My friend totally enjoyed his fish and chips dinner but I wasn’t as excited over my Parmesan whitefish since it’s seem to be missing some flavor. I won’t hold that against them because I’ve eaten here several times and I’ve never gotten what I would consider a bad meal this was more like just a mediocre meal. I’ve gotten both dinner and breakfast at this restaurant and normally enjoy everything that I’ve gotten so I would definitely go back again and give them another chance.More

Last night we had dinner here. There were 10 of us and we did have a reservation. The service was top notch and the food was amazing! Two of us enjoyed the Lamb Chops - probably the best I have ever had! Cooked perfect with...excellent seasoning. Others enjoyed the City Chicken, Stuffed Cabbage and Turkey Dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal! I live on the west side but will definitely be back!More

Our waiter was fast and efficient. He never took off his mask, which we appreciated. Most places we have gone to waitresses have removed their mask when talking to us. That happened to us here too but on another day. I'm writing this because our...waiter was so great he anticipated everything we would need didn't have to ask him. I wish I knew his name to include it. Food was served hot. He even made sure our extra takeout order was done right. We were there on the 4th of July. I also liked that they had a big group seated in the banquet room instead of main restaurant. Love that they have a big selection of soups.More

Very good restaurant to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service has always been good and the food very good. Good selection for lunch and dinner. Their potato pancakes and pierogi's are outstanding.

Was [again] taken here; this time for my "birthday dinner." Always good food, good service. Pierogi's, kielbasa . . . . it's all authentic. Highly recommend.

Marcus is known for their Polish food although it is not for me, my wife and I had a pretty good breakfast we had a veggie skillet which included just about every kind of veggies all mixed together with potatoes, prices are reasonable and the...place was crowded, the wait staff were great and the food came out fast it was a nice visitMore

Marcus grill offers typical Polish American food that’s a bit of a mixed bag. I got the Marcus platter. The pierogis were very tasty, and the city chicken was tender and covered with a rich gravy (is was all pork, though, not pork and veal)....However, a tasteless sauce covered a bland, stuffed cabbage, and the mashed potatoes were dense and heavy. The kielbasa was okay. A few people in my party had fish dinners and really enjoyed them.More

If you are a fan of the Polish cuisine this might be the place for you. Marcus Grill is know for it's Marcus burger that has been transplanted from the Hamtramck area near Detroit. So if that's your kind of thing you can try this...joint. Not so much for me I wasn't overly impressed and I can't say I will go back. So Much for that!More

Originally a local, family restaurant in Detroit, Marcus Grill moved to Sterling Heights maybe 30 years or so ago, and then in perhaps the last ten years relocated to Shelby Township. Their newest location is the best yet. It's affordably upscale, nicely decorated, very relaxing,...low noise level (good for conversation), has a separate bar area and separate banquet room. And oh, by the way, the service is good and the food is pretty good too. We will definitely be back.More
