We eat here every time we vacation in the U.P. We are never disappointed. Large, tasty burgers. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger. Generous portions of fries, onion rings, and fried cauliflower.

Simply Awesome! My last visit to West Pier was In 1999 (16 years ago) when I lived in the area. My first stop back in the Soo after all these years was to West Pier Drive-In to get a Hot Sub - best sub ever. If you like hot sub sandwiches then you need to try their hot sub -... More

The food was reasonably priced, but nothing seemed fresh and homemade. The onion rings were made from frozen and the burgers were large, but so many the condiments soaked through the bun making it a sloppy mess to eat. The fish sandwich was also nothing special.

No lie! Their food comes out hot and fast. The burgers are the best I've had. Staff is always friendly. Great drive-in atmosphere. Watch freighters cruise right by while enjoying a good meal. Visit often!

More than I could eat. An order of onion rings are big enough to split. There's a counter inside that seats five.

When talking with the caretaker at the Point Iroquois Lighthouse we mentioned we were heading next to Sault St. Marie and his son immediately said that we should have lunch at the West Pier Drive-In. We found it to be a delightful little place with friendly, helpful service staff. It is located right nest to the Soo Locks, giving visitors... More

Awesome burgers! Bring cash, they don't accept credit cards. I would suggest not attempting to eat these burgers in your car.

We recently visited West Pier Drive In on a trip to Sault Ste. Marie. After watching a freighter go through the locks, we headed over for a "late" (by our standards...it was after 7) dinner. My husband ordered the "full" size sub. It was 12 inches long and had a lot of meat. He has a big appetite, and could... More

Ordered a double cheeseburger and couldn't beleive how LARGE it was. And it was so delicious! If you can find it, you've got to try it. Next time I'm just going to order the single burger.

A great little drive in restaurant underneath the International Bridge. Good burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes, etc. and they serve plenty for the price. An order for one will easily feed two... so mix and match and share while you sit and watch ships pass thru the shipping canal. Only open seasonally tho.. : (
