Whenever you visit Sault Ste. Marie, THE ANTLERS is a required stop! The food isn't gourmet (but GOOD) and the decor is, well... "unique". If you come once, you will return again (and again)... I've been returning or 40+ years! The Chili and gumbo are...More

Very exciting place to go to- kids would love it- stuffed animals and other stuff all over. Tons of atmosphere. Food is good too- a bit pricy.

Try the local microbrew and the Michigan Gumbo. But save room for dessert. And don't forget to ask for the bells and whistles.

We really wanted to see this interesting place as we'd found it on the net before our trip to the UP. (Their website was a giant help.) We were almost deterred by the near empty parking lot since we went a bit early. Don't be...More

Thank you for your review, I will give the information to my son who is owner/manager. Menu changes and specialities are the buffalo dishes. We make almost all of the sauces, so this will give Chirs a better idea of how much to spice something...More

I started visiting the area, and first ate at The Antlers during the mid 70's. It had gone down...down...down... hill until new owners purchased it from the bank about two years ago. I was amazed at the difference this past Saturday, my first visit since...More

Such neat ambiance! Literally full of taxidermy animals. The food was good and the staff was nice. We try to eat local and avoid chains when we travel and this was a fun choice. If you don't like taxidermy, you wouldn't be comfortable here though....More

Really liked the buffalo burger. Dead stuff on the walls was a little much for this city girl but would definitely recommend the food.
