Wide variety of breakfast items, nice, casual ambience, good place for brunch with a lot of seating upstairs, outside and inside.

I went by Pumpernickle's 3 times while visiting this summer. All three times, the posted times indicated they should be open, but they were not. In the past when we've eaten at Pumpernickle's the food is good, but overpriced, in my opinion. I realize it's a resort town and prices are higher because they need to be. I have nothing... More

Located in the center of town this restaurant has enjoyed serving good food for years. Something changed this year and the menu items have gone from good to great! Eggs prepared perfectly, so many delectable options and bakery items are out if this world!! Used to visit because it was consistently good, now visit because it is sooooo good! We... More

We had the Oatmeal and fruit bowl which are both good. There were tables on a porch and sidewalk. Looked like in interesting menu. ..not just the usual breakfast fare. Had a guitar player/singer and it was Sunday morning. Nice place.

This restaurant had an interesting ordering process. You order at the counter and take your number up to your table with your drinks AND we also got the amazing cinnamon roll. Holy crap! You have to get that roll - so good! We sat upstairs and were able to sit outside. Such a quaint little patio. Our food was brought... More

Brunch at Pumpernickel's was a new experience. I went simple with the Berries and Cream; my husband had The Ordinary. We shared a cinnamon roll that had enough gooey icing on it to make teeth crack from the sugar. The food was good and the service was very on-top of things despite how busy/crowded it was. There was a solo... More

We come here for breakfast every time we're in Saugatuck. My boyfriend LOVES the Big Benny! The food is fresh and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Next time we may try the Bloody Mary Bar.

We drive to Saugatuck from Indiana for a day trip....always try to leave early enough to have breakfast at Pumpernickel's! Love to sit at one of the sidewalk tables and just people watch while drinking coffee and waiting for breakfast!

Great small town Restaurant with full bar, right down town on the main street. Very nice outdoor patio with dinner music in the summer.

I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant as I’ve never eaten there before and there are only so many places that serve breakfast in Saugatuck. We visited around 10AM on Sunday. The place was a little busy, but there were still plenty of empty tables- most of which needed to be bussed. There was a line going to a... More
