Very cute and homey atmosphere! The food is yummy! I had the French toast with apples and walnuts. Every time we are there the food is consistently perfect! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet.

We had a very pleasant breakfast outside on the deck upstairs. The atmosphere is very nice. My eggs were fine, but the potato casserole that had been very hyped was just okay. Some in my group thought that the scrambled egg portions were pretty skimpy.

You line up for your food, but if you like you can place a reserve sign on your table. The food is great and the place is quaint. They had a musician singing while we were there, which made it all the more enjoyable

We enjoyed our breakfast here, the food was unique but good. It is much bigger inside then it looks. Only bad thing was the espresso maker was broke. Food was really good.

Not many places for breakfast in Saugatuck. My daughter loved her pancakes. I had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pumpernickel. Eggs were cooked the way I ordered. My husband had an omelette. Nothing to complain about.

The Pumpernickel is a great place to eat with good food & wonderful service! We ate in the enclosed porch area & the staff was very attentive to us & made sure we had everything we needed! We will return when we visit Saugatuck again! ( we were so very busy visiting with an old friend, Pastor Sarah, that we... More

Food was terrible. We both had eggs benedict the eggs were undercooked, muffins untoasted and soggy and luke warm. Also the coffee was brown water, so bad. The cinnamon roll was pleasant but not worth the trip. $36 wasted, and you pay upfront. We tipped expecting diner service but it was not like that at all. Uncommon coffee Roasters nearby... More

We ate at Pumpernickel's both mornings. It was a short walk from our room at the Bella Vita Spa & Suites. Not a big menu, but still good choices. Everything homemade. I had the "frenchies" french toast with bananas and walnuts the first day, then the Big Benny eggs benedict he next. Both were amazing! Hubby had a breakfast Monte... More

Food mediocre. Bread dry , very little tuna inside. Friends had eggs not the best. Inside dining area nice, clean n staff quick to remove dishes. Only 2 tables outdoors. Not what I expected from others recommended from past visit.
