Very disappointed in most aspects of The Butler. My food was undercooked, had to send back and waited about 20 minutes to get reserved. Is it really that hard to grill a chicken breast? The decor is outdated and a musty, unappealing smell inside. The water view is very nice. The server was pleasant, but charged me for added 3... More

We were excited by the fact that this place has been around for so long, and it didn't disappoint. We wouldn't recommend the pasta, but the chili, shrimp cocktail, steak and walleye were fantastic!

We had lunch, I ordered the turkey club and my boyfriend had a burger. The lunch was fine, nothing fancy. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The view of the harbor was great. It as picturesque with the boats on the water.

This is a good restaurant with a nice view of the river in Naugatuck. They sell good hamburgers. The fish and chips is also very good.

The restaurant was busy, but that because not many restaurants close to downtown area. The food was ok. My mom sandwich was burnt and dry. My grill cheese was good, but it's hard to screw up a grill cheese.

Good service , but a little slow. It was packed so that was understandable. I had fish and chips the flavor was good but extremely greasy. The peach martini was really good. So it would be a great place to have a drink. The best part is the view of the lake which is beautiful.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. I would recommend the "Butler Fries" to anyone who is on the fence between baked potatoes and fries. I made a couple substitutions on my burger (sometimes I can be a pain) it arrived as ordered and was perfect. The Butler was obviously feeling some "end of tourist season" pains ("Who knew we'd be this busy... More

We had a burger and a chicken dish-they were both just ok. I have to say the Clam Chowder soup was out of this world. We will back for lunch just for some more of that!

Burger was excellent. Lobster mac and cheese was okay. Noodles over cooked cheese sauce was okay. Service was good. There was a least a 20 minute wait.

We enjoyed a beautiful summer lunch on the deck with Olivia as our server in this popular tourist location on the harbor in the center of town. There was a varied menu, good drink selection, friendly service and the wait was not long. They don't take reservations - they don't have to do that. Live music in evenings on summer... More
