We waited 15 minutes for a table, no big deal. The wait staff was professional and pleasant. The Atlantic Cod dinner was a generous portion and the Prime Rib, 8 oz was cooked to perfection. A very pleasant experience.

We stopped here for lunch. We ate in the outside deck which was very nice. We were a group of 10 and were seated right away. Both my husband and I had the Fish and Chips and it was delicious. The Coke slaw was very good. Reasonable prices and drinks were good. Service very good as well. Highly recommend with... More

We stopped here in the afternoon for lunch. My husband and I had a simple hamburger. The burger was good. The burgers come with chips. You can upgrade to fries or onion rings for an up charge. We had the chips (I think they were Ruffles). I would definitely recommend upgrading. I saw a plate with the onion rings on... More

I really enjoy eating at this establishment! The coconut shrimp is excellent and they have their famous Butler burger that is very tasty. You can sit on the patio and watch the boats while you eat too! The wait staff is generally good, you occasionally will get a "bad" one but more often than not you don't. I would recommend... More

Friendly people in an atmosphere of boaters and visitors to the City of Saugatuck. Like 'Family' without the flags. Food is good and cocsistent. Order up the stuffed mushrooms are a meal itself. Cheesy goodness woth a glass of wine. Good burgers.

I was very impressed by the quality and service we received at the Butler. The only thing that this restaurant lacked was friendly bartenders. We went to the bar while waiting for our table and was not impressed with the bar service. Both were very young and not friendly. Once we were seated we were greeted by our fantastic waitress... We love the Butler and have always enjoyed sitting at the bar, which used to be sunken down from the main dining area with very cool retro revolving chairs but were bummed upon a recent visit to discover that the old bar is no more. Oh well . . . The new bar is very nice and the new chairs... More

This is a lovely spot for lunch right next to the marina. The seating was comfortable, and the service was fine - the menu is a bit abbreviated, but it works well for lunch.

First, we had cocktails on the outside deck in the afternoon. Very nice sitting on the river & enjoying the day. We did go back to for dinner inside the restaurant. The steak was on the thin side & cooked through. The fried Shrimp tasted like the kind you get in the frozen food section of the grocery store. The... More
