We have visited here many years for the lake perch. This is our first time since the COVID pandemic. Clean with friendly efficient service. The lobster bisque was so good we got a bowl for take out after the meal. I enjoyed the seafood burrito loaded with shrimp, "krab," and coated with melted cheese. It was so big I took half home for another dinner. This friendly place welcomes all: families with young children, retirees, and bikers.

We went for dinner. They have an extensive menu. I ordered the seafood burrito and it looked delicious with two large shrimp on the outside as a garnish. Inside were tiny shrimp, and I'm not sure if they were canned or frozen. I was disappointed to see the mud veins were still in the shrimp. I am personally opposed to consuming mud veins. I picked all of the shrimp out and ate the tiny amount of imitation crab I could find. The tortilla was covered in melted cheese and cheese sauce, which was way too much for me. The best part of the whole thing was the chips around the outside. I left hungry and made myself dinner when I got home. My husband had the perch dinner and enjoyed it, although we felt it was pretty pricey compared to their other fish dinners. I did let our server know why I did not eat the shrimp, but she only said, "oh, I've never seen that before". I would return to this restaurant, but would order something else.

Wet burrito and taco salad was pretty good , atmosphere was just like the old days when Putter owned this place , I think Jeremy will do really good here

SLBG was famos for their chicken wings. I am a loyal customer for over 30 years. After another bad experience last week I asked the waitress today if the chicken wings are as good as they used to be before the new owners took over. Her answer was: better pick something else. I did: seafood quesadillas…. Bad choice. In addition the appetizer cajun cod bites was dry and overcooked. Like I mentioned before, I am a regular guest for over 30 years but I have to say that since the new owners are running the place the quality of the food is bad

Nothing special about this place, owners think they know what they are doing but they’re just running what was a good business into the ground because they don’t care about their customers or employees.

Gave them 2 chances to get it together and they blew both. No more visits from me. Server ignored us for her friends and that didn't set well especially when our food came out cold and had asked for clean silverware and never got it. The last time was absolutely discusting with dirty silverware, dirty plates AND dirty glass. The server just didn't get it either when I pointed it out, just said "oh that happens".. That was the final straw after watching the owners wife half wasted at the bar...

Was a family tradition to have fish on Fridays in our house and now that I live in Florida I don't get PERCH as often. Well I was up for two weeka the end of August and First of September this year. Made sure that family knew I was wanting PERCH on Fridays. We decided on Sanford Lake. The fish was hot and tasty. The wedge fries are killer with the PERCH. It has a small salad bar that really hits the mark with the dinner. Plenty of beers to choose from. Service is fast and friendly. We have other places to go for PERCH, but they also serve WALLEYE. They serve one HUGE piece of WALLEYE, it covered the length of the plate. That was eaten by several family members, but as a MICHIGAN BOY I want my PERCH. Eclectic interior and an overall fun place to eat.

Good food but nothing special to write home about. Been there twice in the last 2 months. Service was good both times but the locals, mostly gray hairs rave about this place. Again good but not great by my reckoning.
Had Taco Tuesday, very Americanized offerings, one time and Black and Blue Berger another. Berger had Bule Cheese dressing and not blue cheese mixed in the meat patty as most places have, a disapointment.

The dinner comes with a baked potato. When asked if I wanted sour cream, I said yes. When I got the bill, I was charged $.25 for the sour cream - cheap.
One of the dinners came with tater tots. When asked if she would like cheese and bacon bits with them, she replied yes. No mention of an up charge. When the bill came there was a $1.00 up charge. The chicken dinners were advertised as coming with a salad and biscuit. One of our members ordered a 2 piece chicken dinner with a salad. Waitress said “sorry, salad and biscuit only come with a three piece dinner.”

Great place for old school bar food and service! Perch was good. Amber was awesome server. Kitchen was a bit slow. But it was Saturday night full house.

The lobster bisque is to die for! The staff was Very friendly and the facilities were very clean. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

This sanford bar and grill has great food from seafood, steaks, taco's, pizzia and much more. families love eating here for the price is just right for all budgets. owner is fun as well. for those who love prime rib saturday nites is real tasty.

We went to this establishment for a fund raisier. The meal was pizza, nachos and salad. The salad bar was okay. Nothing special or unusual. There was not much selection. The pizza sauce on the pizzas was so sweet that I could not eat the pizza. The nachos were okay. I picked around the ground meat and ate the chips with crispy edges. They could definitely save some money and put on about 2/3 the amount of cheese. I am a cheese lover, but this was way over the top. Honestly, I would have been happier giving the fund raiser some money and eating frozen pizza at home.
