We sat down to a table but only to be told that it was reserved ! (There was no reserved sign on the table ) We ordered our food some of which was from a set menu ( ladies night ) The pulled pork starter was very disappointing as it did not seem to be to contain any pork .... More

The rooms were perfect and the menu for food was amazing. The sausage dish I had was excellent. There only letdown was that their wifi was not good.

Hard to put my finger exactly what was wrong, I think quality and quantity. We opted for the order 3 starters and get bread and oil dips free. 4 people, tiny portions 3 bits of bread! Honestly they could've put 4 bits on the board! Tasty but tiny. Main courses again not very big portions and my salmon salad was... More

Requested to be seated in the main restaurant and even though there were plenty of tables available, we were seated in the bar. Of course, us being asian probably had nothing to do with it! This review was removed by tripadvisor as the wrong place but I assure you it's the correct place!

Atmosphere cosy, nice location, some staff didn't seem confident to answer question, food quality hit and miss, if you are going to charge what you do please taste your food before serving it. The dessert we received should not have been served and the waitress after I questioned the state of the dessert did agree. Then to top it all... More

Nice friendly rural pub with roaring fire. Dogs welcome here. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lots to choose from on the menu. Opted for the chicken kebabs with a side of chunky chips with aioli. Separate kids menu too. Peach frangipan tart with whipped cream finished it off nicely.

We booked for dinner on Wednesday night but sadly wouldn't return. I ordered a stone baked pizza which I heard the Coach house was famous for, but it was the most bland pizza I have ever tasted, no seasoning or herbs on there at all - Very disappointing. One of our party ordered the Pot Chicken and asked if there... More

The place itself was very warm and cosy with open fire and lots of character. A decent selection of drinks to choose from. The menu had wide range of dishes. I went for steak and chips. Meat was very good, but chips and onion rings were nothing special. I'd be tempted to go again because of the atmosphere, but try... More
