Sunday night, 8:30 p.m. and local restaurants were about to close. We had not even had lunch and were hungry. The owner of this restaurant still made us sit down and served us good dishes. Prices are good and portions plentiful. Thank you.

Second time was a charm

This was our second trip to the Cancun Mexican Restaurant. I would say our first trip a few years ago wasn't up to par. Now, with Covid-19 and the need for carryout, we decided to try it again. This time, the Cancun lived up to its four-star billing plus. The carry out was hot, ready to go and outstanding. We are going to make a trip back to the Cancun soon.

Always incredible!

Awesome! The food is always incredible! Service and prices are great! Best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. If you try it, you'll be back, regularly. Worries me that it will be so busy, it will be hard to get a table. Really that good!

Myself and six of my friends visited Cancun. The food was great. The drinks were great when the bill came, that was not so great. Four of us ordered the exact same margarita and four of us were charged three different prices ranging from $8.99 to $12.99. when brought to the attention of the waiter, he simply took my receipt and set it up by the register and did nothing more while we waited and waited for a resolution. Two of us then went to the register and encountered the most nasty mannered female employee. We told her the situation. Her immediate response was, ' I'll do it this one time" as if we were trying to get away with something. We explained to her the situation again and she continued to get very impatient and irate, arguing reasons for the difference in prices such as you ordered different sizes (we didn't) The register has been acting funny (good one) I did tell her that I won't be returning. To that she said, "you won't be returning? Then. I'm not going to fix this." The one bill that was correct at $8.99 was returned with a receipt showing the drink now was charged as $9.99. That took more time to get fixed. Ultimately, myself and one other were charged $1 for the margaritas. I would have happily paid the full correct price and not had to deal with this completely unprofessional employee and establishment. Watch your bill!

This was our first visit to Cancun Mexican Restaurant. It will not be our last. It's nice to find another option for authentic Mexican food. Friendly service. Food is delivered fast and fresh. Delicious Authentic Mexican Cuisine

I had a friend/co-worker recommend this restaurant to me and stated it was similar to another we frequent in Bellvue OH (which has my favourite MX food ever....see my other reviews). After eating at Cancun Mexican Grill I have to agree with him. This is now my second favourite location for delicious Mexican dishes. To make it a fair comparison I had the same items I typically order and my favourite MX restaurant: Chicken Fajitas with no onions, side guacamole. Their corn tortilla chips are great....not greasy at all an hold up well under the weight of the guacamole--Salsa was also good. The guacamole was very good and an ample portion was served. The condiments for the fajitas were also very good as was the generous portion of fajitas. I only had one issue with the food....I had onions in my fajitas, thankfully there were not too many to pick out. Also I feel there was a bit too much onion in the Salsa and the Pico de Gallo for my liking. The service was friendly and quick, but she missed catching the onions in my order (she did repeat back to me 'no onions') and she took the plate away with the pile of onions on it and could have apologised for them. Overall, it was a delicious meal, reasonably priced for generous portions.

This place was recommended from a local & it did not disappoint. The food was very flavorful & I like that they have 1/2 orders available for some appetizers. The prices were very reasonable & service was good. Employees were very friendly! I’d definitely come back!

Encouraged by other positive Trip Advisor reviews we drove over to Saline from Ann Arbor for lunch. We loved everything about our visit. The tropical decor was fun. The service was attentive but unobtrusive. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the cheese enchiladas. The price was very reasonable. We are looking forward to going back.

this place has good service, lots of seating, very nice staff, fun decor and big food portions. I give it a 3 stars b/c the food is all very boring and not a lot of seasoning, lots of cheeses and meats but not a lot of flavor... lots of people told me this was the best mexican around so I was excited to try it but did not live up to my standards of "the best around"

We took some friends to this restaurant - again - because this is one of their favorite restaurants. Okay, I am a boring food guy in general - I almost always order Enchiladas Supremas in Mexican restaurants - but everybody I take enjoys the food at the Cancun. We usually grab the far corner booth so we can yak without disturbing too many people. It has never been too crowded when I have visited, and I usually get there around 4 PM or so. Michigan Avenue can be a busy street, so you will want to be careful pulling in; it is certainly simpler if you are driving westerly. The food is good, the staff is friendly and efficient, and if you have good friends along you have a trifecta, I think. Check it out. Bring the family.
