Menu is decent, but the decor is very outdated and in need of a major upgrade. Its also very dark inside. They do run a nice happy hour on weekdays, but thats about the only thing they have going for them. Management is clearly lacking....We had issues with our order and waited forever for our food. Had a manager come by and talk to our table, it would have been a little more helpful. We watched the manager stand behind the bar talking to friends for 2 hours while the restaurant filled. Im sure we werent the only table to recognize this. I will be bringing my business elsewhere.More

Food was excellent but the service did not match the caliber of the setting. Not very knowledgeable and seemed to have little experience with the fine dining experience.

The food was plentiful and prepared perfectly to each of my family member's specifications. If available, there is outdoor seating with a street view and Lake Michigan view. The server was kind and friendly.

Hotel setting with a great view of Lake Michigan coupled with a good menu. Schedule your visit with the sunset and you have a winner evening.

6 people for dinner, we sat outside in a covered area. The food and service were both excellent, especially the steaks and fish. A nice feature - you can bring your own wine and pay a flat corkage fee, for which we took advantage. Dessert...of berry compote was delightful.More

Great atmosphere and food. The fried Cauliflower with honey drizzled over it is outstanding..definitely try it! Nice relaxing lunch break from the art fair. Worth a repeat next year!

Don't want to bore you with details but our evening started off with moving from the outside porch to the inside dining area because no one came to wait on us; still, slow service; dinner meal took so long that we thought we should have...ordered breakfast instead of dinner; server screwed up on the bill; management either took a night off or was just getting over their phobia of getting out on the dining floor and engaging with customers. The sad part is the food isn't that bad when it gets there. There are many options available on the menu and you can quickly determine that the chef takes his/her time in making a variety of menu choices. But the food is overshadowed by the tortoise like service experience. Sad, sad, sad, because the place has a nice atmosphere.More

The staff don’t care about the customers. They changed the hour and the place for breakfast on Sunday morning, and did not explain to us. We could not have a breakfast because they started to take out all the food and drinks. We complained and...they just said : “I’m sorry.”More

We have been going to the Bistro for Easter brunch for YEARS and our visit today was exceptionally amazing! We had a part of 10 which including 2 kids under the age of 5. We made our reservations for 11:00 am which was the best...time! It wasn’t very busy at all and we were seated in the library area which was idea for our group. Our waitress, Sammantha was over the top amazing. She knew just how to deal with my kids and keep up with my weird family. She had such great things to say about our group and made an extra effort to let us know that she was 100% there for us and to make our experience exceptional and she succeeded! We love coming to this Easter brunch in particular for the menu items. Quality, high-end items that never disappoint. We’ll keep coming back for years to come and I encourage others to do the same!More
