There's a reason this place is always packed--it's awesome! Every time I have to cross the bridge, I make a plan to stop here for my on-the-road meal. The malts are awesome and the burgers are too. Come with cash. Credit cards are not accepted (or at least they weren't in 2016)

Excellent bacon cheeseburgers. Juicy, tasty, gooey (the way a good burger should be) and cooked the way you want. And they have malts which my husband just loves. My husband and I ordered one bacon cheeseburger, 1 cheese burger and 1 order of fries (at 12:00) and we were so full that we couldn't eat dinner until 8:30PM. You have... More

We had the mushroom swiss burger, the cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, and fried cauliflower. The burgers were excellent, but my husband was disappointed at how small the mushroom swiss burger was. He thinks they should offer this as a double burger because a single patty is too small. My cheeseburger was great, and I shared with my starving husband (since... More

Out for a Sunday drive and we had to try the burgers at Clyde;s. We only live a couple of hours away and decided to make a fall trip to the Upper Peninsula. Did a search for best burgers in the U.P. on google and this is what popped up. Whoever put it on google, thank you! Burgers, fries, onion... More

This is a takeout joint primarily. The burgers are good. The policy of not taking credit cards is not good. This establishment is right across the highway from a JB's Big Boy. There is a good service to drive up patrons, but the burgers are so messy you don't want to eat them in your car. $20 gets you two... More

We have been going to Mackinac for years and camping at Straits State Park and never miss a visit to Clyde's. This place is tiny and you most likely will not be able to there but stand and wait for your food and eat outside or in your car. Recommendation go on an off time for lunch or dinner or... More

If you want a great burger, this is the place to stop. Eat in your car or inside. Eat the Big "C" Burger and you can skip a few meals. Breakfast, lunch or dinner this is the place. Just over the Big Mac Bridge. Great staff.

Always in a hurry and usually stop at the usual fast food places before the bridge. Today we decided to try something different and we are so happy we did. Great burgers cooked to perfection. Fried pickles with sauce were amazing. Waitress made a fresh pot of coffee. Speedy service. We'll stop again.

Family friendly. Cash only burger joint. The "Big C" is what they are famous for. Remember to to minus onion and relish if you do not like those.

Ate hear with the family while staying overnight across the street. It was a bit expensive for the whole family ($40 for a burger, fries, and shake for the 5 of us) but the atmosphere and the food were great. Good, old-fashioned drive-inn with about 12 stools for eating inside.
