Ate hear with the family while staying overnight across the street. It was a bit expensive for the whole family ($40 for a burger, fries, and shake for the 5 of us) but the atmosphere and the food were great. Good, old-fashioned drive-inn with about 12 stools for eating inside.

I had heard about Clydes from friends and wanted to go. This is a no frills old fashioned burger joint. They only have counter seating and curb service. I ordered the 1/4 pound burger with deep fried pickles. The burger had a very unique taste and I absolutely loved it. The pickles were really good and crispy, they use spears... More

I had the pizza burger and my husband had the Big C. We watched the cook make the burgers using fresh ground beef. Nothing fancy here... Not even plates. Good, classic, all-American food, just like you remembered from your childhood.

A friend told me that if I go north one of the places to get " the best burgers I've ever had" is Clyde's. I had to try it . I wasn't disappointed. The meals are served in little cardboard vintage cars. The fries are thin, crispy, and delicious. The milk shakes are out of this world ! It's worth... More

We spent one cool, rainy night in St. Ignace and decided to have a casual dinner at Clyde's based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. As soon as we pulled in, we were greeted by a car-hop who took our order, and the people in the car next to us rolled down their window when they saw we had a... More

We stopped for lunch due to the reviews ... We were expecting a diamond in the rough ... but, we just got the "rough" ... Everything other than the burger was pulled out of a freezer ... the "wow" burger was just okay ... the fried pickles and fries were less than average ... we too were questioning the overall... We stopped at Clyde's and ordered burgers and onion rings. They were perfect! The burgers were prepared quickly. If you want an awesome burger, you won't be disappointed.

On our way home from Up North, we stopped in here for lunch. The place was packed and we were lucky that someone was leaving as we came in. It took us a while to get waited on, but once we did, the service was good. My boyfriend ordered the Big C burger and it was huge! We could definitely... More

We spent a week in the area and every time we went by, the place was packed. So we planned a later meal and were able to find a drive in spot w/o waiting. First thing we noticed was how fast and efficient the lady waiting on us was. She handled all out door customers by her self and did... More
