We ordered their specialty pizza and it was delicious. Their menu was diverse and the prices were reasonable.

My husband found the little gem while we were staying up north recently. They open fairly early so you can get a decent coffee before hitting the road or taking the ferry. Very friendly atmosphere and HUGE menu. If you can't find something to eat here, you're not hungry. Parking is tight, so try next door if the lot is... More

Java Joe's has a relaxed, "island" atmosphere. It can be crowded, especially on weekends in the summer, but the servers are motivated and the food is excellent. Joe recommended apple cinnamon crepes and they were delicious.

Our group was staying at the Breakers Resort and decided to try Java Joe's since it is right next door, I had researched Michigan and had heard they are famous for cherry pie and so far I had not found what I considered home made cherry pie, but I found it at Java Joe's.The slice of pie was a very... The cafe, located in front of the Holiday Inn Express, is quite small, but the atmosphere and food is fun and funky! Warning though, there isn't a lot of parking. I had the pancakes which were awesome! I got mine with chocolate chips. There are a nice variety of additions to the pancakes or you can just have them plain.... More

Stopped in for breakfast with my wife while staying in St. Ignace. There isn't a lot of parking available so if you arrive when it's crowded you'll have to park next door at the Holiday Inn. They have signs up all over telling you only guests can park here but sometimes you don't have much of a choice so just... More

Good breakfast. Long wait. To be seated.....to order.....to get food. Tight squeeze inside, no air conditioning if you need that. Liked the specialty teapots for sale.

Nice little place for breakfast, we ate here after being disappointed with the breakfast offered at our hotel. The food was good and the choices many. We loved all the cookie jars and teapots decor. The staff were friendly and prompt. Parking is tough though and not nearly enough.

My husband and I stopped in St. Ignace as we were on our way to Sault Ste. Marie. The food was great, we were able to meet the owner. The owner walked around to talk with people and give them road trip advice or advice about what to order. We loved it so much that we stopped back on our... More

I laughed at the "hippy" entrance sign when we walked in and knew this would be fun. The menu is extensive. We chose a simple ordinary breakfast, but the menu options have many different choices and include just about every combination of food offering you could think of. We enjoyed our stay there in st. Ignace and would have gone... More
