This place is absolutely horrid. When I went there, the manager was screaming at the servers like a crazy person. My server otherwise was nice, kind and very young. But she was scared. I'd be too. Food was average. Not going again.

Love the whitefish here, kids love the place, love the atmosphere. If you like fish/seafood then I highly recommend this place. You wont find a better seafood place around St. Ignace

Traveling from southern MI to UP with a stop on Mackinac Island - stayed 2 nites on MI and one nite in St. Ignace. During that time we had on separate days - breakfast, lunch and a dinner at The Galley. All were pretty good...- best was breakfast and second place goes to the Pasty for lunch. Nothing fancy, but good food.More

Enjoyed the broiled whitefish dinner and the beautiful view of the lake. The waitress was very good,

This would be a great place to have a drink and enjoy the whitefish spread. The rest of the meal was really poor quality. They have clam chowder every day. I don't know who thinks this is clam chowder. It was cream of potato soup...with a few (very few) clams. The side salad was mediocre. I tried a burger with bacon. I forgot there was bacon until I bit in to something very hard. At first I thought it was an overcook portion of the burger, then I got the salty taste and realized it was bacon. We were told the coleslaw is homemade. The chef must really enjoy vinegar because that was all you could taste in the dressing. I have eaten in several St. Ignace restaurants when traveling on that area. I can assure you, there are many better choices.More

The food is pretty good. Servers are friendly. The back dining room has nice water views. We eat here at least once every year when we come up.

Tried dinner here and ended up returning for breakfast. Typical aged humble facility. Servers were proficient and kind. Menu expansive. Accommodated a couple special requests. Food portions were plentiful. Prices reasonable. Would recommend. View of bay from one room and also a bar area.

Stopped there for lunch while walking the boardwalk and the whitefish sandwich was wonderful. My girlfriend had fish livers which she thought was good.

I always try to give an honest review. That’s why I have to say despite good friendly service the food was fair at best. I had the fish sampler half of it was good the other seemed old. Maybe another day it would be better....The food was uninspiring.More
