The lady at the front desk at our hotel recommended this restaurant. Great view of the lake and the whitefish spread appetizer was fabulous but the remainder of the meal was "okay".

Wonderful friendly and cozy place to have a delicious meal. Our waitress, Tammy, was the best! We ate there twice and if in Michigan will def go there again!
We had a delicious meal here and would definitely dine again. I had the bluegill special and my wife had the whitefish. Both were very good. Service was friendly and quick. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent service by our waitress. Food was very good also. A little outdated inside, but awesome views of the lake!
Food was delicious Cali club and Reubens sandwich bothe delicious and big. Crispy fries! Great service. Busy place but worth the wait.
Was turned off at first because the phone numbers that we found online for this restaurant did not seem to work, not sure what the issue was. Then stopped in to get take out and was told they do not do it after 5 pm....We were tired and just wanted to get back to the hotel but decided to sit in and eat. Was seated right away, ordered an appetizer and we each ordered a salad. The mandarin and the MI cherry with chicken on each. Food came very fast. Salad were large and excellent. Cocktail was tasty and waitress was very good. Would come back.More
Everyone we asked said that the Village Inn was the best place to eat, after having eaten there it makes me wonder by what standard do they make this determination. Don't order the fish sandwich or the pub style fish and chips!
Even though we have visited St. Ignace every September for several years, we had never dined at the Village inn until now. Bravo to these folks! Great service, and Mallory was a particularly excellent server.....so pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely return.
We went here due to great reviews and interest in trying whitefish (get it on the plank). We were not disappointed. Also got the baked spaghetti based on reviews...also delicious. Safe atmosphere in these Covid times and great service. We would definitely go back.
My husband and I had an early dinner here, and every aspect of our visit was excellent. The hostess and waitstaff were charming, expedient, and accommodating. The Bruschetta was probably the best we’ve ever had, and the Whitefish dip was delicious. The homemade French Onion...soup was decadently savory, and the Planked Whitefish was scrumptious. Food presentation was beautiful, portions were generous, craft beer selection was plentiful, and the vodka tonics were made perfectly. Highly recommend the Village Inn!More
