I don't know what happened to the review that I wrote recently to update my previous review of Pat O'Briens so I will write another one now. I've been going to this place for more years than I can count. Recently, in May and June, the service is terrible, my fish and chips were raw, no apologies and had to... More

No one should ever have to deal with undercooked entrees and inattentive service when they dine with us, Teresa. As you probably know, being a regular for many years, this isn't what we're all about. Next time, please don't hesitate and reach out to the nearest team member available so we can immediately address any concerns you have. Speaking of... More

I gave it 5 stars because they earned it. This place has been around a long time. That is not an accident. They really do a nice perch. I really enjoyed my Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes as well. Chased it all down with a Golden Draak. Service was very good with a twenty-something young gentleman who recently started... You sampled some great stuff on our menu! Everyone here loves when we get kudos on the service and perch, so we just want to let you know how much we appreciate it. Next time you're about to come through, let some of your friends know and bring em' in, too. It'd be great to help them relive a bit... More

I go to O'Briens whenever I'm in the vicinity because I love their perch dinners! I cannot speak for any of their other menu selections because I always order the same thing.

Thanks for being such a loyal fan of us -- and the perch! There's plenty more where than can from, though, so let us know if you'd ever like suggestions for something new to try. Hope you swing by soon! Thank you, -Pat O'Brien's More

We having been going to Pat O'Brien's for 30+ years for their perch. Since we prefer more perch than sides, we always order the perch platter because we just can't get enough perch!!! Consistently their perch has been outstanding but expensive. Years ago, we were told it changed hands however, it really is the "best perch in town" hands down.... More

If the perch could respond, it'd blush. Thanks for the glowing feedback and the 30 years of loyalty. It means a lot to us that you're such a dedicated patron (and a die-hard perch fan)! Thank you, -Pat O'Brien's More

I cannot tell you how long I've been going to this place to eat and meet with friends, but it's been a long long time. I like where it is located (10 and Jefferson) but do not like the cramped parking. Love the outdoor seating and love the service, craft beers and food. Perch is my favorite here...plenty of choices... More

It had been literally 30+ years since I had been here. It used to be much smaller, smokier and hot as blazes. They have made some nice improvements inside and added an outside bar too; pretty nice. I had to have the perch, it was excellent. My partner had the fish and chips and I thought it was also good.... More

Albert, great to hear you thought our quesadillas were the best you ever had. That's high praise! Sounds like you left our place with a full belly and more food in tow. Next time you visit, you might enjoy our perch, or maybe the prime rib. Thanks for the feedback! Cheers, Pat O'Brien's More

Slow service, food not cooked as requested (medium well burger came back dark pink, almost red), waitress took drink order and disappeared. Second time trying the place with the same results. It's off our list.

Stopped in on a Monday evening with a couple of friends. Service was great. My friend and I had the salad with chicken, walnuts, cruising, and blue cheese. It was very good. The onion rings I ordered were very greasy and soggy. My other friend had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was good. Probably won't be going back... More

Ok, maybe I am spoiled living in Royal Oak. Then again... More than 45 minutes passed between ordering our lunch and being served. No, the restaurant wasn't crowded, just THREE tables of diners. It was 10 minutes to get 2 Diet Cokes and 10 MORE for 2 iced teas?! 3 servings of lukewarm french onion soup followed shortly after, but... More
