Stopped after dinner for a bit of desert, and left with a box of wonderful goodies ! Couldn't just pick 1 thing, everything looked so good... Astoria did not disappoint !

We walked into this lovely European pastry shop hoping there might be a bit of 'sans sucre' but, alas, no such luck except for sugar-free chocolate turtles (purchased 1/2 lb) The tortes & many other baked delicacies were absolutely gorgeous 'eye candy' ... presentation very enticing! 😋

Love this place. All Greek standards are perfectly prepared. I get my Greek Easter bread here too. Good enough that my mom likes it !

We love Astoria! Their desserts are excellent! However, our visit last night included a very crabby employee who seemed upset to be working there on a Friday night. He barely spoke to us and never once cracked a smile or said Thank You. We will probably return but I hope our next visit includes happier employees.

Love their biscotti and spinach pie but be sure to have them microwave it for only twenty seconds if you want it warm but not doughy. I cut down on my sweets but have to say that when I try something else it tends to look much better than it tastes. No childrens ice cream cones? It is usually jammed... More

Stopped here recently after anniversary dinner in Royal Oak. The selection of sweet things to eat is amazing and made the choice very difficult. If you're looking for something sweet in Royal Oak, this is definitely the place.

We were walking around Royal Oak looking for a place to grad a quick bite to eat, we saw the shop's sign and figured we'd give it a try. We were disappointed. The pastries were all dry, not fresh, and overly sweet. They weren't all that cheap either, just gross tasting. The guy behind the counter seemed to have an... More

The pastries are great. The ice cream is OK. But, the items are expensive. You will feel like you paid too much for what you received. And, there is limited seating

I had the pleasure of going here several times on my visit. I tried several items but the chocolate covered cannoli is the best I have eaten there or anywhere for that matter!

I discovered this place about a week ago, and I have already been there three times--even though it's a 35 minute drive for me. Awesome awesome awesome German chocolate cake--not too sweet, just perfect. And the place appears clean, and has a really cool old-times vibe. I like it!!
