My husband had lobster Paella that was not a paella at all. It was just rice, no soccarat at all. Those crunchy bits of rice makes a paella! The flavor was flat and boring. The oysters were quite good and the free one with the...More

Wow, so sad so sad. What happened to Tom's? This has been in Royal Oak for over 15 years. The truth is this was a great place at one time, But things change sometimes for the better sometimes not. This is a disappointment to see...More

I went on a Friday evening during their happy hour which had $1.50 oysters, $4 well and $6 cocktails. They have a decent sized menu which you can find something for everyone to eat. The bartender I had was amazing! When it’s nice out it’s...More

Tom's is a bit pricey but food and drink are both good. The bar staff is friendly and the atmosphere cozy. My favorite is the clam chowder, but try everything once. It won't disappoint!

Came with a friend during lobster month for lunch. Everything we had was great and the service was great and friendly. I would definently come back.

Took a colleague out to dinner and drinks late last week. This place was packed, but we managed to get a seat at the bar. Drinks were good and well mixed, but the star was the lobster mac and cheese. Creamy, savory and just the...More

Great service, great jambalaya and fried oysters. The raw selection was excellent but the shucker wasn’t. Disappointed with the inside of the shell being chipped and the oyster not being completely cut loose... not on one or two but on about half of the oysters...More

There are so many great choices in Royal Oak that it is easy to pass this old reliable by. I'm never wowed by the food here but it is consistently good, they avoid silly trends, and the service is good.
