The food was decent for bar food but the bar staff especially "Mr Clean" - the bartender needs to go. Politely ask for a drink after sitting at bar for 10 minutes and the person won't even acknowledge you. Then waits on the group that just sat down next to you to show his power. My Wife and I didn't... More

I hate to write this update, as Red Coat has great strengths, but my last meal was just average and pricey. Usually I order a ed Coat burger, which have been excellent. This time I thought I upgraded to a Filet Sandwich (the daily special) which I ordered medium rare. Out came two thin pieces of medium well cooked, chewy... More

Went for late dinner on a Monday night. We called and were told there was no waiting, which is highly unusual.Arrived about 8 and were seated within less then 10 minutes.I ordered the chicken pot pie which was perfectly seasoned. The price was reasonable.

Great food but don't want to turn the lights on. Dingy atmosphere. However, I have never had bad food carry or dine in.

Had calimari along with the basic burger and onion rings. Trying to get my grease level up. Boy, did I! Burger was swell, as always, but the onion rings and calimari were saturated in grease. I think such was due to a problem many restaurants have, the temp of the frying oil wasn't high enough. The idea of deep frying... More

Went to lunch here twice in the past 10 days. The place is dark and very dated, don't let that discourage you. The food has to be the best in the area. Highly recommend the perch, WOW! Sweet potatoes fries, onion rings and clam chowder are all fantastic. Fresh and tasty. Great service and very good drinks as well. I... More

The staff is friendly...the intenational beer selection is amazing although the Bar tender couldnt properly handle the demands of the crowd..I had the best buger there....its best to avoid the rush hour crowd to enjoy what this place truly has to offer

This place is an institution and has been there forever. Known for its burgers there are a multitude of choices on how to dress them. Service is great. Full bar and a huge selection of beers. Always busy. I live out of town but come back for a visit once a year.

Be prepared to wait. It is rare when we stop by & there isn't a wait. We have never had a bad meal here. The wait is worth it. If you have never been here it is a must try.

We have lived here all our lives and had never been to red coat. OMG...the food is fantastic and so is the service!!! I only wish we had gone sooner. The décor is atraight out of the 1970s...fantastic!!!Sick to death of chrome, mirror and plastic. The waitress was very professional and anticipated our every need, including extra napkins for the...
