Had lunch with some work friends today, the patio is perfect for a summer meal. The spinach salad was so good - great mix of flavors from the apple, nuts, and cheese. The colleagues enjoyed their salmon with rice. And the desserts looked phenomenal except unfortunately we were so full from our meals that we didn't order any.

We ended up here when all of downtown Rochester's power supply failed. The food was good, our waiter was lovely and they served my favourite white wine: Conundrum. A good night out.

Needs to follow in the foot steps of other Mitchell's. High turnover, cold at times, Not really a warm atmosphere. Can be good for singles in the bar on weekends.

Late dinner alone with family out of town. Have not been here in 2-3 years. Bottom Line: Solid food. Nice raw bar for a non-coastal state. Good cocktails and well trained staff (efficient...not super friendly.) Not cheap but the food is quality Ways to improve: (1) clean behind the bar. Your customers can see the caked on dirt. Bring in... More

My wife and I have turned Mitchell's Fish Market into our date night staple. Inexpensive it is not but you're not going to find quality seafood for budget prices. I think Mitchell's is humble enough not to charge Eddie Merlot prices but still delivers quality meals. Though I've been going on and off for the last nine years my experience... More

Took my girlfriend to dinner here for a nice evening on the town, both of us in our early twenties. Wait staff seemed hesitant to serve us as if we wouldn't pay. Server belittled us, treated us differently than his other customers and told us "I'm going to go back in the back room to go clean. I won't be... More

I Love the Fresh Seafood at Mitchell's Fish Market. The seafood chowder is delicious and the fish is always fresh and tasty.

Slimy fish, small portions, rude wait staff, over priced, horrible atmosphere. It looks like a diner with a tiny bit of more high end seating. No thanks, will definitely PASS!

Two couples went Mitchell's for dinner on Saturday night. The food was very good and the service and atmosphere was great. This would be a great place for special occasions and romantic dinners. Found the prices to be a bit high for the portion sizes.
