We have had MANY wonderful meals from Shish Palace for many years now! From dining in with a group of 20, to carrying out a couple sandwiches, every time and every dish has been first class. Family visiting from out of town can't wait to...have a mixed grill platter. Their food is affordable, consistently good quality and properly cooked and their staff is welcoming and efficient. The venue itself is comfortable, not stuffy, not fancy, but always clean. We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.More

We stopped in the little plaza looking for sushi (closed) so decided to try the adjacent mediterranean restaurant. We were so happy we did. Beautiful place, friendly staff, and everything was delicious. The pita bread was warm and soft and was accompanied by a wonderful...garlic sauce (hard not to get stuffed on it). I had the hummus with salmon; the salmon was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, fantastic. I just missed some typical mediterranean coffee, instead of regular American, to close the meal.More

Great food and great service. Garlic butter yummy with the bread. The lamb and chicken were fantastic and the salad was great.

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and great staff! Plenty of healthy vegetarian options. As soon as we sat down, the waitress grabbed a high chair and helped us put our baby in it. The meal started with complementary freshly baked pita, garlic sauce and salsa (all...good but the garlic sauce is superb). We ordered baba ghanoush, vegetarian ghallaba and a hummus tabbouli wrap. The baba ghanoush was perfect: smooth, smoky and flavourful. The vegetarian ghallaba was tasty and the wrap was deliciously fresh. Our waitress was very attentive the whole meal and it was a nice family dining experience.More

We hired Shish Palace for my daughter's graduation party. I was blown away by the huge number of compliments we got on the food from our guests. People couldn't stop telling us how good everything was. The manager was awesome to work with. He made...sure we had extra food when I was worried over whether there would be enough. He even called my husband the next day to make sure we were happy with everything. Excellent experience - we will be using them again for our next grad party in two years!More

Big on take out. Small dine-in space, but clean and attentive staff. This time co-owner came over. Very pleasant. Be advised in the winter where you sit as when door opens the draft down the center is chilly! Large portions.

This place was such a disappointment. I love middle eastern cuisine and have it often. I asked my parents to give it a try and looked for a place closer to home. The lemonade Mom ordered was excellent, and bread was good, but garlic sauce...was bad and was followed by some of the worst food I've ever tasted. Dad's order was wrong. The overcooked lamb was somewhat camouflaged in sauce in my and my Dad's meal, but Mom's shawarma was a very small step from being jerky. When the waiter asked how things were, Mom said "the lamb seems a bit dry" and the waiter looked at the dry, blackened meat on the plate and said "really?" He did bring out something a little fresher, but the seasoning was so heavy handed that Mom just didn't want it. Not only will I never go here again, but I'm not likely to ever get my parents to try middle eastern cuisine again.More

The lamb shawarma was inedible. I've never written a bad review (or any review) before but this dish was like dried out jerky. When asked how I like the food I told the very nice waiter that it was dried out. He did bring me...a fresher dish but it was so strongly seasoned I still couldn't eat it. I would not return to this restaurant nor do I think I will ever try mid-eastern food again. Must be an acquired tasteMore
