Love the Mexican food at Rojo. The restaurant has specials everyday, but Taco Tuesday is my favorite. $1 tacos, and awesome chips and salsa. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is very professional. Good value for the $$$.

Part of the Andiamo chain, Rojo is popular, but we've found the dishes to be "dumbed down" for a general population. There are better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Chorizo is excellent as are the Pastour tacos. Nicely spaced tables so room to move even at peak times. So taco Tuesday is fine if you can get a table. Nice decor.

Great menu, great prices and great service make this little gem a tri-fecta in the restaurant world! Make sure you go in the summer when they open up the windows, the sights and the sounds of the streets makes you feel like your in a little village just north of Tapia Durango...

My wife and I were somewhat surprised at the crowd on a Sunday night, but were seated immediately at a two-person table in a busy aisle way. That was acceptable, but the noise level was a bit much. Using a gift card helped, and the food was reasonably tasty and plentiful. However, the next day, I had, shall we say,... More

Let me preface this by saying there is a lack of decent mexican food in SE Michigan. Rojo serves an americanized version of typical tex-mex dishes. They have your standard table-side guacamole and the food is O.K. If you want more authentic mexican food, however, plan to travel a ways away from Rochester. They also have a location in Birmingham,... More

The college kids have taken over this restaurant and they can have it. Over an hour wait for a table. The margarita was weak for $15 for a "premium" drink. The table side guacamole was, ........,well tasted like nothing. But that was better than the food. Burrito was all bean and the taco was not worth a dollar. No service... More

This is a great authentic Mexican restaurant. The dishes are classic and in classic Mexican style but they are large, filling and the salsa is great. Service is generally exceptional. Nice seating; view of the downtown milage and in the summer it's great.

The food is mediocre, the service is poor and they are very expensive for what you get! As I mentioned if you want good food and fairly priced, drive to Lake Orion and go to the Sagebrush Cantina!
