We eat here only once a year because it is more expensive than our usual favorites. First we were served nice warm bread and a lovely olive oil with grated cheese for dipping. I had a nice martini before dinner and it was a generous pour. Although Fiamma is known for its steaks neither my wife nor I are big meat eaters so we indulged in seafood. We started off with a shrimp and lobster bisque which was disappointing, it contained no discernible shrimp or lobster. At the least we expected a puree of these shellfish and maybe a small lump or two. We also had a duo appetizer of smoked whitefish and smoked salmon which was quite good. We had one entree of grilled salmon with wild rice and broccoli which was very good. We finished off with a chocolate lava cake with ice cream that was pretty ordinary. It was a very nice meal but by no means extraordinary which we were hoping to be the case.
The service was excellent.

I have been to wedding showers here before and everything was very good, but I just attended my niece's wedding and cannot say enough about the food and the service. It was outstanding. She had to plan a downsized wedding (30 people) which they could accommodate (it was just family). There were 2 servers and Jeff (who was our server) was just fabulous. There was appetizers, salad/soup and the entrée. The appetizers were Bruschetta, Calamari, Brie cheese and hot Parmesan bread sticks. Entrées were scallops, veal parmesan, beef tenderloin, a pesto pasta and salmon. Sides were green beans, mashed potatoes or a parmesan risotto (which was absolutely fabulous I could have just ate that). I did not hear one person who did not like their food. Everyone said it was fabulous. Cupcakes were available for dessert (not supplied by Fiamma's) but everyone was so full that they even supplied us with take out boxes if we wanted to take one home. Would highly recommend this for any function.

Service was outstanding!
The Baked Brie appetizer was great: comes with fig jam, walnuts, raspberries and blueberries.
We loved the Filet Mignon (we had 3!). You can select from a few finishing sauces like Au Poivre, Bernaise, standard (onions, mushrooms), etc. The Au Poivre (peppercorns and brandy) was excellent.
The Creme Brûlée was very good.
Place was packed on a Saturday evening. Highly recommend making reservations in advance.
Parking: Street parking only; the restaurant is just in front of the park. If you pass the restaurant and make a right at the corner , you’ll find a small street called Fleet: there is ample covered parking in there. And it is right behind the restaurant!

Ok, so it says you don't need reservations. You do. We drove 35 minutes to get there was told at 7pm, with a lot of tables open that it would be a 15 min wait. All we did is turn around to think if we should wait, turn back and the other hostess said a 30 minute wait. When I asked why, when there are so many tables. She said they are too busy in the back. We had to find another restaurant. ALWAYS do a reservation here.

Fiamma was phenomenal! First time here. Had brie app and was delicious followed by filet for me and hubby had NY strip. Both melt in your mouth with delicious char on outside. Also went for creme brulee. Everything was cooked perfect and service was great. Not rushed and not slow. Will definitely be back.

I've written up Fiamma Grille before in much more detail (see Feb. 23, '19), but after our latest dining experience there this past Sunday, just want to again highly recommend the Jumbo Seared Sea Scallops ($31), menu described as accompanied by "Spaghetti squash, pancetta, heirloom tomato, cipollini onion and fig beurre blanc". I love scallops and often order them when we go out to dinner. Fiamma's scallops are top-notch! Sooooooo good. Nicely seared outer surface, tender and moist on the inside. If you like scallops, try them here. You won't be disappointed! (If gluten-free is important to you, this is a great choice.)
It's worth noting, too, that on Sunday nights Fiamma features a strolling violinist and accordion player -- nice music with plenty of Italian tunes. Combine that with one of Fiamma's monthly Sunday night dinners to benefit a charity for a worthwhile experience. I'd be remiss in not mentioning that Fiamm's Tuesday night feature is 50% off any wine on the menu priced under $100... Lots of excellent wines to choose from. Drink well! :-)
Fiamma Grille is a dinner-only venue.
Highly Recommended.

My husband and I dined here for our 24th wedding anniversary on one of the last eat-outside kind of nights. We had just a lovely, lovely dinner. I wanted the scallops but was not enthused about it having pancetta [some kind of bacon] and fig butter. So I asked to take those off, with my apologies to the chef, and add the boursin mashed potatoes. The server was very gracious in making the change. It was absolutely delicious, probably the best meal I've had all year. This is one of those restaurants we go to as a "special treat," and it is so worth it.

OMG so good! First time here. Lamb was falling off the bone tender. Loved the creamy polenta. Husband's filet was super good too. Waiter was very knowledgeable. We will be back for sure!

Prices as fine cuisine but in reality medium quality. I took the ahi tuna, the tuna was cooked perfectly, the rice was full with soya sauce, disappointing. The wine was good but overpriced.

The steak was over cooked. The waitresss was rude and lazy and I had to go flag down a hostess to pay the bill. Thumbs down, the people that own, manage and staff the place have no pride in their product.

We were on time for our 6:15pm reservation and were seated promptly, and then brought waters within seconds. 🙂 Kathy waited on us tonight, and she’s excellent. Very friendly. My wife had the lamb osso bucco which she said was excellent. I had the walleye, which was probably the best walleye I have ever had. And I am A connoisseur of walleye and perch. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Actually not one but below zero. Terrible service and food. This place used to be just OK. Has gone downhill over the past few years. Poor management. They think they don’t have to be good because of their location. Very disappointing! Will never go back!

My husband and I went to dinner with our daughter and son in law last Friday. Made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived, always a plus! Gail is truly the best server, she is attentive and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and served to perfection. Nice music could be heard from the bar area. Highly recommend.

We've enjoyed dinner at Fiamma Grille several times over the last few years. Fiamma is clearly one of the two top restaurants in Plymouth. Some might regard it as fine-dining; while the food rates in that category, its somewhat more casual ambiance seems less formal or stiff. That's a plus!
Food wise, six of us dined together on this occasion, as it was a Sunday night benefit for a local charity, with 15% of our bill going to support a worthy cause. For starters, we shared two orders of Baked Brie (@$14), which included (menu described) "Fig jam, fresh fruit, crushed walnuts, raspberry coulis and grilled flatbread." Size-wise, this was perfect for the group and utterly delicicous.
For entrees, we enjoyed the following (with menu descriptions):
-- Jumbo Seared Sea Scallops ($31) with "Sweet corn and chorizo hash with a cilantro lime creme." The scallops were tender, moist and perfectly done.
-- Risotto A La Fiamma ($24) with "Creamy Arborio rice, wild mushrooms, cipollini onion, Fiamma zip sauce and two beef tenderloin medallions." The risotto was perfect, soft on the outside, slightly firm on the inside. Kudos to the chef -- not many kitchens get this right.
-- Apricot Honey Glazed Salmon ($24), "With wild rice and orzo pilaf and fresh vegetables.) Nice piece of salmon!
-- Main Street Steak Salad ($17) "Grilled NY Strip sliced and served atop fresh mixed greens with crumbled gorgonzola, roasted red pepper, crispy red onions and peppercorn ranch." Excellent!
-- Woodland Ricotta Gnocchi ($28) "Sautéed Piedmontese beef tenderloin tips with wild mushrooms and fresh asparagus tips, in a sherry wine sauce. Tossed with house made ricotta gnocchi, finished with a hint of truffle oil and grated gorgonzola cheese." This was a great combination of tastes. Beef was moist and tender.
-- Hand Cut 14oz New York Strip ($35) "Topped with heirloom tomato butter. Served with creamy boursin mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables." The strip was a perfectly done medium-rare. Excellent!
After all this, there was no room for dessert, though the menu sorely tempted us.
While some may regard Fiamma as somewhat pricey, it is well justified by the quality of the food and service. There's an excellent wine list, with very good choices by the glass, as well. The St. Francis Chardonnay with my scallops was a perfect match. Note, too, that Tuesday evenings feature 1/2 off on bottles of wine priced under $100.
A separate private dining room is available for larger groups.
Bottom line, Fiamma Grille offer true quality in a nice setting. Tables are far enough apart that conversations elsewhere will not interfere at your table. Highly Recommended!!!
