This is the first time I have been to this restaurant. They have the Maurice Salad that Hudson's used to serve. That's what I ordered and it was very good. Also had a slice of pie for dessert, of course. The husband had the Lighthouse turkey cheddar sandwich which was grilled and very good. Tables are separated and you feel safe eating here. You have to order at the counter and then pick up your own food. Forgot to get water, but it was fine. Cleared away our own trays and dishes also. I'll probably be back to get the salad again.

Teresa, thank you for the 4 star review. So happy to hear you enjoyed the Maurice Salad. That was such an iconic salad at Hudson's we just had to put it on our menu.

There were 3 of us for lunch at 2pm on a Saturday. My wife ordered the pot pie combo with a slice of pie. They were out of the pie choice she made. My son ordered the same and they were out of pot pies but did have his choice of pie. My wife changed hers to the quiche and that took 10 minutes to get straightened out. I ordered the turkey sandwich with berry crumb pie. After paying on a cc we were told no more pot pies. The manager came out to correct the bill by modifying it. After 10 minutes they started over and did a new bill. I hope it is correct. You have to take your own food to your table. The food was good but average. The pie was standard, at $4 a slice I expected more.

On our way home, we picked up a couple of their pie slices. No dinners. Just carryout desserts - Banana Cream Pie and Coconut Cream Pie. Delicious! A perfect end with a cup of coffee at home.

I arrived at 6 pm. Out of chicken pot pie, egg salad sandwich’s. Finally found something they had and ordered. Waiting for my food notice the lady making it did not have her mask on. Told the manager and asked for my money back and left. Very dissatisfied. Funny they had signs and hand sanitizer out for customers.

Sandwiches and soups are good. Plenty of booths and tables. Note: Food orders at counter requires guest to pick-up and carry to table. Drinks are self serve. Guest are also expected to bus their own table. Only complaint is that the tubs you place your dirty dished into need to be cleaned more frequently. Some looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for several days.

1st time in and the staff was very kind and friendly. Atmosphere is very homey. We tried the chicken pot pie & the shepherd's pot pie - the crust is fantastic, but it needed more gravy and veggies to balance it out. The peach/ berry crumb & berry pie were very good. Crust & fillings were perfect & had a great balance if flavors. Will be back - but only for dessert.

Stopped by the Plymouth MI location for a lunch carry out. The broccoli cheese quiche and tomato bisque soup were delicious. The peach/berry combination pie slice was disappointing because there was very little fruit. Seems like 90% doughy crust and minimum fruit filling. The slice of pie was the main reason for the lunch visit.

This is just down the road from our house and we often stop here for a meal. It’s nicer than fast food but not too fancy. Comfortable up north feel. My favorite is the southwestern chicken wrap. My husband and kids love the egg salad. Always get some pie with ice cream! If you’re taking your food to go, check out their pre-packaged desserts. Recently got the turtle cheesecake and it was so good!

I met a friend here to avoid parking hassles downtown. Next time I will enjoy a cup of coffee at a friendly place downtown and not worry about closing time.

We ate dinner here on a Saturday night around 7pm. It was not at all crowded. The employees were friendly. You place your order at the register and then your name is called on the speaker to pick up when it's ready. My kids got the mac and cheese meal. It was 3.99. This included a small bowl of mac and cheese, blueberry applesauce and a juice box. We had to order a second meal for my 6 year old son because it wasn't enough food. My 4 year old was fine. My husband and I ordered the "Choose 3" deal. I got the mushroom quiche, side salad and chocolate covered cherry pie. It was all pretty tasty. The pie was excellent. The quiche should have been warmer. My husband got the chicken pot pie, side salad and pecan pie. His pot pie was so hot that it took about 20 minutes to cool down. His pie was way too sweet. We would return here for a quick meal in the future.

There is nothing better than soup and a half sandwich for lunch. If you don’t believe this, stop in and try their Stuffed Pepper Soup and a 1/2 Sandwich. Service is fast, food is tasty and well presented. Also, reasonable on the wallet. Ein Prosit.

This place has great homemade soups. They are made fresh everyday. The vegetable, chicken noodle, butternut squash, and minestrone. They also have good sandwiches and salads. The cherry chicken salad is the best around. The pies speak for themselves. You can't pick a bad one.

Eaten here two times on business, and probably will make it a standard. Variety of wraps, sandwiches, soups, and savory pies for supper. Have had a turkey wrap with chips and a beef pot pie. All very tasty. But people come here for the traditional pies. I've had peach, apple, coconut cream, and chocolate cream (not all at the same time, though that isn't a bad idea). Rich and wonderful. Service is good and the restaurant is spacious. I suspect mornings and weekends, as well as pie-heavy holidays, the place is extremely busy.
