Arrived at 4:45 and already packed. The food was amazing. My wife had the Seared chicken with rosemary mushrooms, and I had the baby back ribs. Both excellent. Also had the turkey chili and the spicy pork meatballs as appetizers. So much food and great...flavors! We had to take the desserts home as we were stuffed. Will be returning very soon.More

Two of my friends and I made a trip north to a couple of specialty stores in the area. A quick Google search brought up Four Roses and after looking at the menu seemed like this was just the ticket. The large parking lot was...packed when we arrived but we didn't have to wait too long. Before choosing our main course we asked to see the dessert menu so that we could plan accordingly. The food was very good but we absolutely loved the sweet choices we made. We all got something different and none of us were disappointed. We are already planning another trip just for the carrot cake!More

We were celebrating a birthday, but not ready to eat in due to Covid-19, so ordered 4 meals for pick-up. The friendly, courteous staff had our meal ready on time. So far, so good. Everything seemed fine until we arrived home. Three meals were great....Mine--the Stuffed Chicken Breast with Smoked Gouda was a total disappointment: NO stuffing; NO gouda; just a plain grilled chicken breast with some rice and a few vegetables. What a huge bummer. We've been to Four Roses to dine in many times before, and never had a bad experience like this. If we had been eating in, I'm sure they would have been able to remedy the situation immediately.More

The food was excellent with a large selection of entree's to select from. I had the whitefish it was a large portion and it was very good. My wife had the chicken breast w/thai peanut sauce, she said it was very good. The desert selection...was amazing, I had the icebox lemon pie-excellent, I don't remember what my wife had it was good but we both agreed that mine was better. Our server was Taylor, she did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.More

Really great place to go, reasonable prices, fresh made. Desserts to die for! Definitely plan on returning again when we get to that part of west Michigan again.

Four Roses came highly recommended by friends. We finally made it there first our Anniversary. It was worth the wait. The menu accommodated my Gluten Free diet. The menu is phenomenal! The food was delicious and our waitress was fantastic. We got there about half...an hour after opening on a Saturday. It was already packed. We were offered a high top and took it. I am hoping we make this a regular stop and now know, it is worth the wait.More

Heading back home we got hungry and my daughter found this place on TA and thought it sounded good. Turned out to be great. Very busy but we were served right away by a young lady (Taylor I think) who when taking out order checked...to see if we had any food alergies. First time I've been asked that but not a bad idea. She also checked on us numerous times. There were 3 boards serving as menus loaded with salads, sandwiches and plates. All very reasonably priced. A 4th board listed 20 or so deserts. A lady in the next booth suggested we eat desert first and then see if we had room for lunch. She may have been serious. Both my daughter and I decided to eat healthy so we both got a chicken ceasar salad that was excellent purposely to leave room for desert. Desent portions are huge and reminiscent of a place in Monterey, CA. In the end we each took home 1/2 of our deserts and part of our salad. Will pass this way again in May and stop for sure.More

My first visit to Four Roses was on a busy Saturday evening. Our wait was shortened by calling ahead to reserve a waiting spot (which can also be automated via Yelp). I knew what they were serving due to their well-maintained FaceBook page. The service...was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, and of generous quantity. I'm glad we decided to share a dessert because it was also of a generous size. I will definitely make a return visit.More

Have been here a few times with just my wife and a few times with the kids and it is always an excellent choice. They have a rotating menu that is always full of good options, and if you have a sweet tooth you can...go in just for the desserts which can be a meal all by itself.More

This is a locally owned restaurant that is worth getting off 131 and finding. I highly recommend the whitefish Grenoble. The desserts are awesome and huge

Stopped in for lunch and had the Four Roses Burger and it was very good! Small, quiet place just north of the airport. Nice selection of beers and desserts. Service was very good as well

A casual establishment on the outskirts of town that sweats the details and take pride in locally sourced ingredients and libations. Whitefish Grenoble, baby back ribs and a decadent black bottom pie made us glad we stopped on the way out of Kalamazoo. Seating is...a little cramped and noise on the high side when the place is bustling.More

This small place just north of Plainwell MI has the best fish dinners and lunches around.! The recipes are from the old Aries Cafe. The Deserts are from there also. The deserts won all kinds of awards. The black bottom and peanut butter pies are...unbelievable..! There may be a line to get in...but worth it.More
