The owners take great care in providing local, high quality food and it makes all the difference. The burgers were given a thumbs up by very picky people in our group. The nachos were great and I typically don't like bar food! I had the onion soup and a side salad and the homemade ranch dressing had been made by... More

My husband and I stopped in on our last night in Petoskey and absolutely loved it. The decor is awesome, you could spend the whole time looking at and reading the things on the walls. We both ate; Walleye and a bacon bleu cheese burger, and both were excellent. We sat at the bar, and enjoyed our bartender. He was... More

The food was very good but the staff seemed tired and we felt we were imposing on them. Our beers were flat but the bartender thought they were fine. They were replaced by bottled beers. Even though the food was great and this place came recommended to us, we probably try a different place next time.

If your are looking for a quick meal in downtown Petoskey, avoid this place if you can. The servers are rude and indifferent, the premises are dirty and the food is only mediocre.

Loved the huge moose head in the middle of the bar. Bring your appetite the portions looked huge. Bartender and all the staff was so nice

With an entire 30 minutes to kill I ducked into The Mitchell St Pub. Nobody should die of thirst on Mitchell St in Petoskey! I chatted up the bar keep and ended up being steered to a 9 oz Oberon and later a 9 oz Sparkle with a twist of lime. Free peanuts and popcorn made a nice snack.

Excellent service as always. Sat at the bar had a few beers and shared a delicious Ruben and onion rings with my husband. Watched the Tigers game and had a lovely eveing. Bartender is perfection. Poor guy got a huge to go order after being hassled by 2 mildly drunk d-bags who were politely told no kids after 11 pm.... More

This is a throw the peanut shells on the floor kinda place. The food was ok, the service was just about the same. The night we were there it was so quiet and there were plenty of people in the place. Finally the bartender put a couple of quarters in the jukebox. Nothing to really write about. It was average.... More

The Mitchell Street Pub and cafe is a busy establishment in downtown Petoskey, Michigan. We have been there several times during our trips to that area. The food selection is accommodating to many types and needs. Menu. The pizza is above average and the drinks are cold - with an assortment of local brews to try....Always seems to be busy... More
