The Mitchell Street Pub and cafe is a busy establishment in downtown Petoskey, Michigan. We have been there several times during our trips to that area. The food selection is accommodating to many types and needs. Menu. The pizza is above average and the drinks are cold - with an assortment of local brews to try....Always seems to be busy... More

Most travelers do not know about this place but if they do find out they will be back. A good variety of beers and food.

Good food, good staff and a good location in Petosky. Free peanuts too. I don't like walking on the peanuts in the fairly dark interior but that it only one opinion. The food is basic bar food that you should enjoy. A nice beer list too.

It is very dark in here - even for a bar... However, I was impressed with how clean the women's restroom was! I cringed with the thought of using the bathroom in a bar because normally they are so gross, but this one was actually pretty clean. As far as the food it was okay. I loved the soft pretzels,... OK burgers, beer-y onion rings. Restaurant is SO dark that when I blooped some mustard on the table I never saw it. We had to use flashlights to read the menu. Our waitress was crazy busy and couldn't get by to offer us more water, or more coffee. Not my favorite place. We had the same issues last year-- darkness... More

Best place in town for a burger and beer. Very laid back. Food is always good. You must try the deep fried mushroom with horseradish sauce!

We are here last night and have had to stay in all day today. Just awful! There's nothing good I can say about it. I knew something was off but couldn't put my finger on it. Stomach cramps within an hour of leaving 4 of the 5 of us got sick :( stay away! Yuck!
