Only because of a very helpful clerk at The Grain Train food Co-op did we even stop here to eat. I asked where you could eat GF and an employee of the Grain Train printed up a list of restaurants that offer GF choices. Had I not had this list I would not have eaten at Roast and Toast as... More

Toast & Toast is one of three very rude restaurants in Petoskey. (The other 2 are Cormack's Deli and Mitchell St. Pub.) At Roast & Toast the staff feels you are doing them a favor to eat there. When you pick up your order after it is called, it is slid across the counter to you without grace or manners,... More

Fresh roasted coffee. Smell it as soon as you open the door. They have very good oatmeal for breakfast. Selection of scones, muffins, cookies. Also, fresh daily made soups for lunch. Trendy decor with many nooks and booths and tables to choose from. Conveniently located downtown Petoskey. Check out the cups embedded in the concrete on the exterior of the... More

Don't miss Roast and Toast! Delicious bread, scones and all kinds of coffee drinks. Very casual vibe. Can sit with your laptop or paper as long as you want. Help yourself to delicious soups and coffee. Sandwich was so good and bread very soft.

This is a tiny place with limited offerings of ice cream, pastries, and beverages. We wanted to use the restroom so we ordered coffee and cookies. The coffee was fresh.

We really enjoyed the eclectic décor, fun staff, diverse menu, reasonable prices. The staff had many vegan options. Our meal was very good. Petoskey is a beautiful town.

Extremely busy coffeeshop. Tables jammed up against each other. Got just a large black coffee and used my own almond milk creamer. Restaurant layout is long and narrow and you order halfway into the restaurant. Which leads you to feel like a salmon swimming upstream against the tide of incoming people when you try to leave.

Fun coffee shop, my chai latte was excellent, my friends iced mocha (she tends to be very picky) not so much... A cute retro shop with a fabulous decor and lots a seats to take a break from shopping... They did have a soup and a sweets offering...observed folks eating various goodies...

I try and go here whenever I am in Petoskey. The oatmeal, bagels and muffins are great for breakfast. I haven't had any of the sandwiches, but the salads and soups are excellent. My absolute favorite is their Zen coffee.
