Craving Italian? This is an excellent choice. You can sit inside or outside. Food is very good, made from old recipes and fresh ingredients. Family owned for over 80 years.

I've been here multiple time and each time has always been delicious. As others have mentioned the food is great, but you do pay a little more. Unless you catch the spaghetti special ($3.50? I think). We had a great time outside, the only down side was service seemed slower outside than what we've had inside. Wasn't that busy so... More

We went to this restaurant shortly after they opened at 5:00 on a Thursday evening. by 6:00 it was filling up. It was a very nice place to eat. We had a table by the window with a water view. It is more expensive that we usually pay but my Pasta dish with 2 large mild sausages in it was... More

Great food and fun decor (think olive garden meets Martha's vineyard) but you are going to pay for it. The pizza is phenomenal and the sausage is fantastic. Great place for adult gathering but not too friendly for small children. They do have a really nice outdoor eating area for this who wish to dine outside.

We went for dinner on a busy Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised at getting immediate seating and efficient service. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Although she was super busy, she was attentive and made our visit perfect. My husband loves the creamy asparagus soup and chicken Alfredo . My chicken Marsala was delicious and the servings are generous.... More

We were here for dinner on a Sunday evening. We really enjoyed everything--the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I had baked lasagna. It was delicious, hot, and sure not something that had come frozen from a box. My wife had Tony's shells, and loved it. When the waitress set it down in front of her, I asked if she... More

We went yesterday for dinner and both had ribs. It was really good. Sauce is a little different from your regular bbq sauce though, really on a sweet side, but it was good. Meal came with a simple salad (okay) and bread with dipping oil, which was delicious. Went back today for dinner and tried their pizza for the first... More

I am a seasonal resident in southwest michigan. My friend and I had dinner at LaCantina on father's day! We were once again so satisfied with the entire dining experience. To start with our server Tyler was great! The bread was nice and warm and so good! It's so good I always over eat it. Then I ordered Tony's shells.... More

Our granddaughter had heard many good things about La Cantina and selected this as the restaurant to take her for her birthday. We sat outside with the river flowing by. Extremely attractive décor! The appetizer was great. The veal parmesan that my husband ordered and the ravioli that my granddaughter had both looked delicious. I ordered a pasta/vegetable that I... More
