My family visited the Inn on the way back from Tahquamenon Falls. The service was all around spectacular! There was a power outage in town but the staff handled it with grace and class. They were kind, thoughtful, efficient, and invested in the customers. The...food was incredible both in flavor and portions. My son had the Logsplitter, I had the Whitefish, and my husband had the the Yupper cheese steak. Delicious!More

Service was friendly, fast and personable. Food, well, the burnt end appetizer was the best I have had and I have eaten barbecue across the country. Certainly did not expect great barbecue in the U P. The white fish sandwich was excellent, light, crispy and...flavorful. Homemade fries and homemade ketchup set it all off. Then had to try the carrot cake since everything else was so good. Not disappointed. Worth the hour drive to get here. Definitely will come back no matter where I stay in the U P.More

While traveling up to Paradise MI with family, we are at dinner at The Inn. The log splitter (brisket sandwich) is the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. And the mozzarella sticks are a must to get! Staff is on point, restaurant is spotless even...when packed with customers.More

The food is good and the carrot cake is excellent. However they added a automatic 20% tip to our bill for 2 people. If I had not looked the bill over I would have left a tip and ended up double tipping. It is BS...to slap on a 20% tip and not even tell you. It is my choice on how much to tip. So check your bill before you tip.More

Homemade, excellent food. We've never had a bad meal there! Karen was our server tonight, and she was friendly and personable. We do not eat out often, but when we do, the Inn is our go-to spot.

This is in the parking lot of the hotel (Magnuson Grand) that we stayed at. Good soups, fish tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, Poutine fries (there were no cheese curds, just gravy) were a bit salty, Pleasant atmosphere.

I had fish tacos and husband had a Ruben with fries. The food was pretty good. Fries weren’t hot. The server was not very friendly or accommodating. She didn’t come back for a while to check our drinks. It was OK.

My friends recommended The Inn and I am glad they did. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were seated. Our server was also the bartender and he was fantastic!! He made suggestions and steered us away from a few menu items. We enjoyed the...burnt ends appetizer, then the Log Splitter burger, the Hot Beef and the Italian Beef. My friend ordered a slice of carrot cake to go since we could not eat another bite. Everything from the red local beer, to the appetizer, to the soup, to the main course to dessert was the best meal I have had in a long time.More

Amazing food! Amazing service! Comfortable atmosphere and did I mention amazing food?? Try anything “smoked” on the menu - they smoke it out back. Cold beer, football on tv, and an amazing carrot cake for dessert. We will be back!!

Nice little place, not a lot of options in this little U.P. Town. A decent menu and beer selection. Good service. Would rate higher but the Burnt Ends App was REALLY bad. Mostly fat and gristle. Soups were good.

Excellent service and great food. Lots of home smoked meat entrees, homemade ketchup, house slices potato fries, fresh whitefish. We stopped for lunch as we were passing through and returned for dinner!

After a long afternoon at Taquanemom Falls, our family just wanted to get some authentic Lake Superior whitefish for our hungry 20-something sons. On the advice of a local food truck operator we checked out this place as they promised large protions and authnric handmade...care to every dish - we were not disappointed. We started with their signature jalapeño poppers (jalapeño and cream cheese) which were excellent although I would have preferred a few more for the price. We then ordered two plates of the fish tacos and two plates of the fish and chips. Every detail was perfectly executed, from the taco sauce, to the seasoning of the fries and the large and very filling portions of locally-caught whitefish. Equally impressive was the very fast and efficient service. My wife and I have worked in the restaurant business and are very aware of how well an establishment uses its staff. Even though it was a slow period when we dined here, every person from the waiters to the manager to the bartenders were in full action. I mention this only because I can tell that there will be times when this place is very busy but rest assured that this will not be because they owners are unprepared - this place is definitely worth the wait.More

Last night we ate at the Inn and had salads...very good, and my Ceasar was so large I couldn't finish it. Tonight we decided to just have dessert for dinner, and it did not disappoint. They only have 1 dessert, but it is hands- down...the BEST carrotcake I've ever had...and it was huge!More

The food and service here was amazing. We visited on Friday and happily waited less than 20 minutes for a table. We ordered the whitefish tacos, poutine and pasty. All three of us were very satisfied with our meals. About half way through the meal,...our server brought out another serving of poutine and said the chef felt the first portion was adequate. Our server was super busy yet she was very attentive to us. We stopped in the next night and got the carrot cake to go. It was delicious! We will most definitely return on future trips to the area.More
