Great breakfast. The portions were large and the food was good. Susan was a great waitress and our coffee cups were kept full.

I haven't tried their lunch or dinner but they serve excellent breakfast at a good price. The portions of food are pretty huge too. Homemade rye toast is awesome. The corned beef hash and pancakes and coffee are also very good. No problem with the service. The atmosphere is pretty warm and inviting with a slight edge of right-wing gun... More
This is a classic American home town family restaurant. We stumbled upon it traveling back from hiking at Ocqueoc Falls Park. We had good pizza and and perfect fish and chips. Busy place even on Sunday evening in the fall.
This place has wonderful food-it's worth the drive to Onaway for this dining experience. I don't think there's anything on the menu that isn't good. The pizza is very good and the service is friendly. They make you feel welcome.
I came to Onaway State Park for the weekend at the end of September. I was looking for a place to have breakfast and get on the internet. We were there on a busy Friday night but were seated in under 5 minutes. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Meal was good and they have great deserts too. They also participate in the DNR's Passport Perks program so be sure to ask about that.
Preferred place for pizza...handmade! Reasonable pricing and quality toppings. I like the fact you get to choose toppings no extra charge...desserts out of this world, too!
Woodwinds has a fairly extensive menu offering. The food is decent. I wasn't a big fan of the fries, but they seem typical for the area. Prices are good though, especially the kid menu. Prices for the kids menu were very reasonable. Worth a trip if in the area.
This is a very family friendly restaurant and if you're a pizza lover Thursdays lunch is a must, they have all you can eat pizza buffet which includes wonderful soups & salad & some dessert pizzas. Breakfast they serve a wonderful selection of omelets AND their pies and cakes are home made. Very friendly and they have a nice selection... More
Stopped in for breakfast while traveling thru Onaway...nice well presented breakfast...The blueberry pancakes are LOADED with berries!...not canned pie filling like some places.
