Wonderful place. Atmosphere and decor very welcoming, quaint, and comfy. Music selection was outstanding. Seating outdoors, inside, and a larger area inside for big groups. We stopped here after visiting a lighthouse as I wanted a sit down restaurant and didn't want to search one out in traverse City. Lots of wineries in the area. We stopped in the deli that's attached to this restaurant and that is more take out, sandwiches, etc. We were there mid afternoon so it wasn't busy.
Waitress/bartender were very friendly, nice, and attentive to us. Good variety on the menu. I had a wonderful glass of Riesling from a local winery just down the road, where we stopped after to get a couple bottles to take home. Would definitely go back to this place if we are in the area again.

This is a beautiful restaurant in Northern Michigan. I ordered the stuffed portobello mushroom. It was delicious ! The server was attentive and friendly.
Most impressive was the unsolicited help that one of the worker's gave my friend who has some physical challenges as he got in the car. This restaurant is a winner on all levels.

Good food after a long day of wine tasting. We were on the Old Mission Peninsula all day discovering wineries and needed to find a place to eat. There aren't many options on the peninsula, but we were pleasantly surprised with Peninsula Grill. We were able to sit right down and order. The lobster roll was very good, and would get again. I wish however, they would serve more of the local wines in the area. However, we enjoyed this stop and will look forward to going again.

This visit the food wasn’t good. We ordered the Ahi tuna salad and the Chicken ceasar salads and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Sprouts were nothing like last four times we ordered them. They were deep fried rather than sautéed. No bacon, no shrooms or onion crisps, just fried burnt sprouts. Tasted horrible. The chicken was tough and dry and the ahi was way too thick and wasn’t even seared. Must have had a new or very hungover cook. We didn’t complain as this was out first time getting bad food. Service always good though. May try again but not for a long while. Shame on management for allowing terrible food to be served.

Peninsula Grill is friendly, great bartender that makes wonderful drinks and delicious food. Their atmosphere is comfortable and you have a choice of sitting at the bar, inside or ourside on their patio. Stop in for dinner the next time you're on Old Mission Peninsula, you won't be sorry.

This place is so good we had to get take out 2 nights of our trip. Ladies loved the coconut shrimp so much they got them both nights. Barbecue pork is wonderful and so are shrimp and grits. If you want to indulge be sure to get the Dirty Fries, they are delicious, never had anything like them before.

We went here after doing a wine tasting. Everything looked good on the menu but we went with the smoked platter to split ribs, pulled pork , and smoked brisket. The food was great. We were even able to eat outside on the patio. Family friendly too.

My spouse and I stopped here for lunch after visiting a vineyard. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside. For the sports fanatics there is a TV so you can watch the game. There is a full bar. Wait staff was very good and food was served in a reasonable time frame. One of the best salads I’ve ever had. Spouse had the fish and chips and he enjoyed it.

Was just driving around Traverse City and came across this restaurant. My wife ordered the Perch which was the best fish we have ever had during our times in Northern Michigan. Our server Jenna gave great service. Would reccomend this restaurant without hesitation.

Visited after a day of wine tasting. Started with the artichoke pita dip, not your average artichoke dip. Totally worth the bad breath afterwards. Good variety of menu items. If I lived in the area i would definitely be a regular.

Very welcoming place! Stopped by to get some "to-go" food (brussel sprouts and apple briscutto salad...which were killer). Several tap Michigan beers to select from. Well worth a visit.

This was a convenient stop very accommodating to our large family at the end of our day on the peninsula. Food was just fine if not exceptional. Stick to the grill menu items. Nice outdoor seating area and kids menu.

Nestled behind a service station and farmer's market up the Old Mission Peninsula, and easily overlooked. 15 minutes from downtown; don't miss it! Perhaps the best whitefish dip and fried whitefish we had the whole trip. Casual, good for families, good service. COVID safe.

We were looking for a fairly healthy dinner after a day of wine tasting and loved this fun place. Chicken Caeser salad, Margherita Pizza and a cup of soup. So good! Lots of drink options as well. Will definitely return.

Rainy day in TC so we took a ride to the Lighthouse and have lunch. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. My husband and I each had the corn cheddar potato soup - Wowee it was wonderful!! He had the pulled pork/chips and I had a ckn/cherry salad…both were excellent!! My chicken was grilled to perfection- yum!
We’d highly recommend and return if we are up this way!
