Great sandwiches and salads at a responsible price. You order and they bring to your table. Service is quick and you have real napkins and silverware!
Good place to meet friends or family inside a wonderful bookstore!
Often, my lady walks for exercise in the mall. Her and her friends enjoy walking there. I enjoy sipping coffee, chatting with folks, etc. Chapbooks is a good coffeeshop, well located, well cared for, and managed with care and reason.
Their coffee has always been...fresh, and tasty. The bagels and scones always look good - too good. Too tempting!
Sometimes, we have sandwiches - and they're good. Of course, we make sure to to get the same thing that we order. Duh!More
I rarely take the time to write a review but thought I'd kindly express my views in hopes that management will take a look at what they are serving their patrons. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup hoping to receive such. Instead, I was given...a cup of a very thick tomatoe based "chilli" like dish. Upon tasting a spoon or two it was indeed chicken chilli complete with a ground meat substance, also there was no avacado as advertised. I promptly asked if I could return and get the "tomatoe bisque" soup instead. She was kind and quickly brought the replacement soup. This was almost as big a disappoinment as the first. I was served a very runny, light pink soup that didn't have the slightest hint of tomatoe taste. I tried my hardest to enjoy, after all I was given extra fruit. After an few spoonfuls I just could not justify the almost $5 I spent for the soup. It wasn't as much as the taste was awful I felt they were trying to deceive customers into thinking this watered down substance was tomatoe soup or that the chili was chicken tortilla. Not okay Schuler/ Chapbook Cafe.🤨More
Everything in a mall will be a bit more expensive than outside of the mall. Convenience has a cost, and malls are convenience stacked up deep. Only the naive would expect otherwise.
Chapbook does a credible job of providing a convenient place to meet with...friends, relax, enjoy coffee, and have a lunch too. We come here every month or so, and have always found it to be pleasant. So may you.More
Busy place you have book store shoppers, students studying, business people meeting, people meeting for weekly card games or board games.
They do have nice outdoor seating area if the weather is warm enough.
Staff sometimes doesn't hear you and gets the order wrong this...happened twice.
Was not overly impressed with friendliness and kindness of staff but maybe it was an off day for staff we all have them.
They have the spiciest honey mustard you will ever have burn your nostrils if your not a fan of hot foods!
Nice place to meet with a lot of parking in the shopping center. Nice outdoor mall area to walk around also.
Bathrooms are located on the right just past the counter where you order but inside the book store itself.
Decent lunch for the price. Quite a loud location when very busy though too.
Easy access for families with strollers of people with wheel chairs.
Big windows so nice and light inside.
Free wifi so a lot of people come to work on computers for business or school.More
Stopped in for lunch while doing some shopping, it was busy-busy-busy! But service was still quick, and they have lots of enticing options. They have a wide variety of lovely loose tea, and a more extensive menu than what they show online. I had a...pesto tuna salad which was surprisingly delicious, full of fresh basil flavor, and crunchy from nuts. I polished it off and was impressed that a bookstore cafe could produce such impressive, fresh food in big portions. Husband loved his huge Cobb salad as well. Great place for a healthy lunch if you're sick of the same old mall chains!More
The food in Chapbook Cafe is always good. The atmosphere is very nice. And, the staff is always pleasant. Actually, my knitting group has met there weekly for lunch and to knit for six years. We decided there is no better!
