Rude fast waitress is a turn off, nice quiet place to enjoy conversation with your friends

Food was better this time but they were not busy on a Friday night yet our waitress hurry us along . Was rude in taking way dishes while most were still eating . Asked if we wanted to go boxes while we were still eating and brought the boxes while we were eating. Then when I put down a large bill said do you want your change ( it would have been a double plus what the total bill was !!) when I said yes she brought back large bills as if she would get a large tip I said could I please get more change still return with out ones, now I am a good tipper but that is really rude! You should say ‘I ll be back with your change’ and you should give proper change after all this is cash !! Not a credit card . I always give a bonus if they do this proper. Don’t rush people who are enjoying their dinner when you have many tables open. It might mean a larger table and a bigger tip. It wasn’t close to closing . Learn your manners and you will receive amazing tips !

Great Service and Casual Atmosphere

This was our first visit to this restaurant. It always looks busy so I believe it has not only regulars that are very satisfied but also newbies like us that are just looking for a new spot to try. We had meatballs for an appetizer - which were fine, nothing special and chicken alfredo - my husband said it was very good. I had chicken parmesan which was sub par for me. The chicken was dry and the sauce (for me) was bland. The house merlot was a nicely balanced red, I would order it again. Overall it's a nice place and I would go back to try different dishes. Our server, Kellie was on point and very nice

Perfecto!!!!

It was pouring in Boston and we stopped in to get out of the rain. The nice people brought out towels for us to dry off. I am half Italian and loved loved the Italian atmosphere!!!! The owners are exactly like my mom and grandparents! I loved their canter and felt right at home!!! Food was awesome! Nice Italian pizza and wine and a cappuccino! Loved the experience!!!!!

Not great food and inattentive wait staff; wouldn’t recommend

We stopped here for lunch before an evening of shopping. We had never been here and won’t visit again. The waitress hardly came around and we were one of two tables in the whole restaurant. The food options for lunch were terrible. Either full dinner entrees or a salad. The salad was good but Italian dressing that came with it was very plain. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The waitress acted like we were bothering her, not friendly at all.

Visited after a 10 years away

The pizza was excellent, meat lovers! Should have know better than to order a burger at an italian place. Was average, bun quite plain. Calzone looked wonderful. Red house wine was average as well as the service. Was pretty empty when we arrived and didn't pick up too much, server just wasn't on her game. Will definitely return for the pizza.

Great Italian food

From pizza to wonderful pasta dinners, this place is a great place for dinner. The atmosphere is romantic or family friendly. The staff is very attentive to all of your needs and easy to work with. Try the Spag special pizza for a delicious treat.

Delicious Italian cuisine

The best pizza I've had anywhere and I'm a pizza lover. Been a customer for over 20 years and I drive 30 miles to get there well worth it. Super friendly service and great decor

Best pizza around!

We called for pizza takeout. It was done on time and was hot and tasty. We pretty much order the Spag's Special every time and it's consistently delicious. The service is always friendly too. We drove by during the lunch hour on a day they were normally open and I had a momentary panic because there were no cars in the parking lot and I thought maybe they had closed! I later discovered that they are now only open for dinner Monday through Thursday. That's ok with me as long as they haven't closed their doors!

Very nice server. Very average food. OK red sauce. Heavy breading on the chicken parmesan. We don't plan to hurry back to the old, tired decor. May give the pizza a try.

We had high hopes for this restaurant, since we wanted to take the whole family here possibly after my daughters graduation from MSU next month. The place was clean and a smelled of delicious Italian food cooking. Service was good and efficient. Tomato Basil soup was AMAZING, hence the three stars. I ordered the Chicken Carnuba...which should be chicken breast with tomatoes, spinach, & bacon in a brandy "cream sauce" my chicken was swimming in a white liquid that had such a STRONG liquor taste, I could not even finish eating it. :-( The spaghetti that was served with it had a very bland tomato sauce on it...boring. My daughter had the Chicken Parm and her comment about her dish was that is was also bland and just OK. Bummer...

A chance visit.

Great food, great value and exceptional service. Thank you, Tina, for making it a very enjoyable dinner. We just happened upon this place as we were traveling and highly recommend it. Salad and bread and entrées were exceptional. Large portions that are very well seasoned. Authentic Italian.

Good, authentic Italian food

We've eaten here a number of times over years. This time, my dining partner had a calzone, which he said is as good as always. Made from scratch, it would be hard to find anything locally to compare. I had an antipasto salad, which was very good, but really didn't have enough lettuce, compared to other items in the salad. I always love a salad with lots of items besides lettuce, but there really was very little lettuce in the salad this time. Usually, it is more balanced. We love this place and will be back again.

A large group of us had lunch here before my daughters graduation at MSU. We ordered several appetizers, salads and pizzas. The service and food were excellent, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again.

Old-school, enduring favorite

Spagnuolo's has remained a constant in the area with dependable food and good service over many years. The dark atmosphere and traditional, old-time Italian restaurant feel are in stark contrast to most ultra modern locations. While the food offerings are not rated excellent, they are tasty, hot and served fairly quickly. Our group of friends has met here occasionally for many years and always had a good time.

Awesome Pizza!

We ordered take-out pizza for a gathering with friends at our home and picked it up. The pizza is one of the best I've had anywhere! We ordered a Spag's Special and a Mediterranean. They were both delicious and cooked to perfection, including the homemade crust. If you haven't tried their pizza, you're really missing out!
