We use to live in Novi and loved our regular trips to the Border Cantina. We drove out of our way on our road trip back home today and we were reminded of why we love this place so much. Awesome food; flavorful saucy rice,...delicious corn cakes, great tacos and enchiladas and the best salsa EVER!! Good prices and generous portions make it even better. We got takeout due to COVID, but the dining room is open, along with the patio if you want to eat there. We ordered online and our food was hot and ready to go!More

This is our family's go to place. At least 1x/ month. Have missed it so much during shutdown. Oscar is my favorite waiter, ask for him by name.

Always seem to get great service when we go. The food is great because they are very accommodating to prepare things as you request. Fast and tasty, two best attributes.

The quality and taste of this restaurant has lost it's flavor. In years past, always busy. Not so much anymore, residents is surronding area know of it's loss of it's taste.

My server was Alaina. She brought out the lists of foods with allergies. She helped me pick my food. She checked on me often. Yeah, that’s what I expect from this restaurant.

I have been going here for years. I am gluten free, always tell the servers, and have never had a problem. Until last night. I invited a coworker who recently moved near here to have dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant. The server told me...everything I usually eat without problems has gluten. I ordered a small botana instead. It was huge, The whole green olives rolled off the plate and the chips. The slices of avocado were too big to fit on a chip. I managed to eat less than a quarter of it. Less than a fifth. My friend ordered fish tacos which were so spicy she was able to eat only one. She asked for water several times before it arrived. The restaurant wasn’t that busy. Her frozen margarita melted in about 5 minutes and separated. We asked for the bill and carry out boxes several times. I live 5 minutes away and barely made it home. I have spent most of the night in the bathroom. This morning, I threw out the leftovers. I probably won’t be back.More

Margaritas!!! They make em strong and delicious. We had their chicken nachos. Their chicken had a great marinade on it. They pulled the fixings on the nachos. Plenty to share. One note: ask for the jalapenos on the side.

Ordered Taco Dinner, Fajitas with Chicken & Beef, Vegetarian Fajitas, and Grilled Vegetables for 4 people. After the completion of the meal all parties stated it was one of worst Mexican meals they have consumed and would never come back. Unbelievable that even the Tacos...were no good, strange seasoning. All the remaining meals were very bland. The meat in the Fajitas was dry and tough. All the cooked vegetables were over cooked.More

The servings are large but not memerable. We thought they were tasteless. A good selection of menu items at a fair price. The service was very good and it was a very clean venue.
