A crazy busy Sunday, I managed for forget to eat breakfast and missed lunch --- so I was STARVED! Wanted tasty and delicious meal, reasonably fast. Famous Dave's was near where I needed to run my last 2 errands. Arrived about 4:30. No wait for a table. Delighted when ANDY was our waiter - he is fast, knowledgeable and pleasant!... More

When we arrived, just before 7:00 pm, the restaurant was almost empty. We were a little concerned, because that could be a bad sign. Within the next 30 minutes the tables filled to a slow weeknight level. I could be, because the time was during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. My husband and I shared the mixed platter for... When we don't want to fire up the grill this place is good enough. We like the variety of BBQ sauces to go all the meat. Sides are average with the sweet potato being the best.

When I sat down, I was handed 4, yes 4, menus! I had a pulled pork sandwich which was OK, but a little dry. I paid 99 cents extra for what I thought was a side of cole slaw. It was actually a table spoon of it added to my sandwich. Side of mac and cheese was skimpy and uninteresting.... More

We recently enjoyed an awesomelunch with family while visiting in the Detroit area. It was our first time to visit Famous Dave's and hopefully won't be the last. The atmosphere is quaint and the food is delicious. I loved it all but let me recommend the macaroni and cheese with some extra kick added to it.

My beef brisket was very good and tender . Really enjoyed my house salad too! I was impressed with the wait staff and their ability to handle a large group and do multiple checks. Good atmosphere too. Would definitely go back!

Truly good overall, the portions to me were just a little to small and it seemed like it was just thrown together to fast...just left a little hungry still that's all...

Went to Dave's with two friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated in the bar side, which was full but not rowdy. There was a good selection of beers including craft and IPAs. Our waitress was friendly and did a great job. The BBQ was very good...I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken, which was moist, tender and... More

Seven of us came here for a business dinner. They were great at getting us a table that would fit us. They didn't cram 7 of us in a space for 6. The waiter was great. The food was outstanding. You can't go wrong with the Brisket, ribs or pork. And Wilbur's beans are outstanding. The brisket was some of... More
