The egg skillets are wonderful. Breakfast and service are always friendly and tasty. My son enjoys the crepes and pancakes.

We were told we needed to stop in here for a very good breakfast and were not disappointed. It was - to me - an old country cafe with lots of "roosters" setting on shelves and hanging on the walls in pictures representing the "early bird". They have a full country breakfast, very good food,, daily specials.

Remember the atmosphere of familiarity and friendliness that we used to expect everywhere we went, not only for a meal? Well, you are sure to find it at The Early Bird, a great little diner on the main street of Northville. Although it is not a huge place, there are booths large and small as well as a counter for... Traditional american breakfast place. I tried oatmeal with dried cherries, banana and pecans and it was awesome! The only thing that was somewhat disappointing is that menu said FRESH apple juice, but it was usual canned juice. The earlier you come the more chance that you'll be seated right away.

Granted, it was Saturday morning on the day of a home football game at Michigan, but when arriving guests are willing to split their parties to occupy every stool at the counter and fill every table and booth, you know a breakfast place has a great reputation. The Early Bird will not disappoint you. It was worth the wait for... More

I don't know what "Deborah" is talking about but this place is cheap, very tasteful and yes does have great location. I don't know why anybody would go anywhere else.

French toast was tasteless. How can that be??? The bread......... Coffee refills not so good. You can tell a change of ownership here. I am all for change but if you are going to own a bus. be front and center with the public. prices are higher but it is so not worth it! The only thing this place has... More

This is in our little downtown area in Northville, Mi. My absolute favorite is there skillet breakfast. It's a lot of food, so you can share it or always bring a little home. There are about 5 variations, my favorite is the Country Skillet, actually in a small cast iron skillet. Layer of hash browns, onions, green peppers, choice of meat, melted... More

Pretty basic little diner. Gives you a typical American breakfast, lunch, or dinner depending on what time of day you go. If you order a glass of orange juice though, it is freshly squeezed!
